A Stray Dog fell into the Huge Pit & Separated from her newborn babies
The rescued Mother dog was separated from her newborn babies.
Our recent rescue was a bit emotional for us.
A dog, trapped in a 7-8 foot deep dried well for 4-5 days, cried for help for nights but the villagers thought it was some wild animal crying at night. But it took the keen ears of a local kid who took the courage and figure out it was actually a dog crying for help.
The child's timely call made our team rush to the rescue site.
Braving the depths of the well, we first decided to feed her to call her down, and we realized she was a lactating mother. Attempts with leashes and treats went wasted, leading us to use a net for this delicate rescue. Using that, we were easily able to catch her and took her out of that well.
She was probably looking for food when she fell down.
Initially planning for sterilization, our priorities shifted as we considered the possibility of her pups awaiting her return. Determined to reunite the family, we decided to release her back.
We tried to follow her but she was fast and disappeared into the woods leaving us hopeful that she made her way back to her village above.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the kids who not only rescued this distressed soul but also aided in tracking her origins.
