Kirkland vs Montiel FULL FIGHT: December 26, 2020 - PBC on FOX

In the 10-round middleweight co-main event, Los Mochis, Mexico's hard-punching Juan Macias Montiel (25-4-2, 22 KOs) quickly stopped knockout artist James Kirkland (34-3, 30 KOs) of Austin, Texas, dropping him three times and finishing the fight just 1:56 into the first round.
Within the first 30 seconds, Montiel sent Kirkland down with a left hook to the temple and put him down again soon after with a follow-up series of uppercuts and left hands. An unsteady-looking Kirkland rose for the second time, looking to continue fighting, but was sent back to the canvas for the third and final time from a strong barrage culminated by a Montiel right hand. Referee Jerry Cantu waved off the fight and awarded Montiel the upset victory.

    • That Ann Wolfe sparring/training camp took it's toll too. 🤮🤮🤮Man Wolfe overworked her fighters and made them spar too hard, probably trying to prove some non existent point. That's why she got no fighters left.

    • @Your Neighbor no big names, but probably amateurs and pros + she trained her daughter who looked like her as a fighter, thought she would do something. Her gym closed down so I guess they all left (including Kirkland, who's still undefeated with her in the corner, but that type of training/sparring takes a toll, especially when you can't move your head like Hearns/Toney who also went to war during sparring, but atleast they moved their head better)

You're so thirsty for former 154lbers to fight a cruiserweight but I bet you had none of this energy when Clenelo was at 154 and 160 with them then begged for the franchise witness protection belt to duck, called andrade "boring" and ran.
