Arun, we don't keep doing benchmarks on our phones everyday. Neither we run them back to back. None of the apps stress the phones like benchmarks. Also, are benchmarks really that important?
This is the first person makin' Exynos vs Snapdragon on Samsung S20 👍 GO Hype
Perhaps "Ultra" should be reserved for the snapdragon processor.
Yes, the dragons deserve it.
Definitely, and the ordinary model should carry their in house Exynos processor for a lesser price point...
Then note 20 "plus" is the name for exynos variant.
@@joshuaodoro2546 it should already be a lot cheaper. It's crazy what you get for $1000 when $700 phones are almost the same
Yeah imma stick to my xr 🤣
I had a fight with Samsung store as they never sell Snapdragon in India, so I had to drop S20 and went with M51. They also never had the 512Gb version available like the USA variant in India. Samsung knows the market very well and knows how to play it very well. People pay the same money ask over the world but still this how they get treated.
samsung is a scam business.

Yep, Zack is spot on here. He's more than qualified to call out Samsung on this point.
👏👏👏
True. would be so easy to call it Note 20 E and Note 20 Q
Even if they call it the same name the price should be different.
If they at least would sell the Exynos version a lot cheaper, then it would be sort of okay, but in Europe we pay more for the weaker Exynos than they do in the US for the better Snap Dragon...
In many parts of the world not just europe, my country vietnam the place where scamsung makes the note 20 lines up the price is still higher than the us pricing even with the vat, taxes cut.
@DUPPSS nah samsung produces almost evey part in korea, china, and some southeast asia countries that are close to korea to cut down the cost of manufactering, it's just scamsung wanting more money, not because of the cost of making the phone.
Samsung in Vietnam there are many gifts and promotions they can deduct gifts and the discount can be up to 200-300 $ depending on version. And the Samsung version running exynos in Vietnam can be said to be the cheapest because Samsung is very fond of this market
Doesn't that have something to do with taxes?
That is why you never buy Samsung in Europe. I stopped years ago just because they treat European customers like that, selling us s***.
Actually we need to sign a petition ang get 16% our money back for the exynos based models. Note. I own S 20 note ultra exynos

5:07 A very minor detail is that the EXYNOS have 4 network bands while SD has up to 5 or 6, depending on the model. in my case Galaxy Note 9 has 5 bands, while my brother with Note 10 Exynos has only 4.
I really hate how they're cheaping out on some markets without lowering prices.
And claiming its the same phone when it clearly isn't
It's fucking criminal bro.
when you covnert the currency, the uk version is MORE EXPENSIVE and EXYNOS !!!
And increasing too. My s10e cost the same as the S10 in the US and had the exynos.

You mean unsealing
Thanks a ton to Zack... As most of us completely unknown about these details would never come to know how we are getting fooled. Pls keep up the good work sir.
I’m so glad to see more big youtubers covering this lately. This isn’t even a recent problem, it’s been a long running trend that Samsung’s Exynos phones have worse performance and battery life than the snapdragon counterparts. Case in point is my Exynos Note 8 that has UI stutters at 1440p resolution and lasts half a day while brand new. The delta between snapdragon and Exynos is the largest it’s ever been this year, and honestly if that’s what it takes to get people to bring it up, so be it. I absolutely hate this business practice.
so do I
Well that Exynos generation were superior than Qualcomm. Qualcomm began to be more powerful since 845.

Hmm, I have known for some time that Samsung change internal components depending which region there are selling into. ie cheaper components in India, more premium components in the US/Euro. In all honesty, I look at my phone as a complete package, I am well aware the Exnos chips is a bit sluggish. but even so I don't really see any complaints. I do hope that the Exnos becomes true competition to Snapdragon, as the more choices OEM's have the better for us all. I wonder how Samsung is doing with AMD Radeon IP.
I agree but its important to have multiple suppliers. It's just sad that over time the chipsets had such a gap in performance.
I can fry eggs on my exynos s10+, snapdragon can't do that. I call that a pretty fair deal.

@@ymx777 If that's true, I wonder why Samsung doesn't just use the Exynos in all regions? I assume they generally would prefer to use their own processors, and it's cheaper to do so. So unless there's some weird reason that the cheaper processor varies by region (or something like that), I presume it's because the Snapdragon processor does in fact run better.
@@ids1024 My guess it's due to cost and patent strategy. Qualcomm owns a lot of patents in wireless, especially in America. And maybe samsung owns a lot of wireless patents in other regions. Damn I really felt that when Jerry said that his note 10+ was gonna be his last samsung phone
Same thing happened to me, my first and last Sammy was a Galaxy S8+ (had the Exynos version). Sammy slowed the device down and ruined the battery life via updates over the span of 3 years in which I had the battery changed 6 times in a Samsung service.

*I really went on a tangent or two in this comment. It's mostly me rambling (not sure though, didn't go back to read it, lol). I think the point at which I was trying to arrive - but probably never did - is that I get that the phones weren't advertised as having different processors. However, I knew this before making my purchase. All a person had to do was read the description and specs, or ask about it- they actually had to WANT to know what they were getting for their money. I wanted a good processor, so I looked through all available G. S20+ models, did some research, and bought the more expensive Snapdragon model. I don't remember the phones being the same price..... in fact, the lower prices of some of the phones is partially what drew me to triple check all the specs. One phone for $1200 and the same phone for $900-something.... both brand new.. ? Yeah, I'm gonna be looking at all the details.* **Don't bother reading the rest of this, You!** In the summer of 2020, I wanted a new phone. I was constantly running out of space on my old phone (Galaxy S6, 32 GB and no SD slot). The S6 was losing battery too quickly for my liking, and the inner charging port had loose parts, making it pretty complicated to charge. Most importantly, I REALLY wanted to play CoD:Mobile. I liked my brother's Galaxy S10 Plus (all except for the rounded edges- I never understood that feature), but figured I might as well get the newest model, which was the S20 line. So, I started researching. The S20+ had most of what I was looking for (you couldn't just make the screen totally flat?). I would have gotten the Ultra for the GB and the additional camera, but the phone was way too big, and the extra camera was nothing special. Plus, that "Cloud Blue" effervescent color was growing on me. And I'm finally getting to my point.... I was aware of the difference of one version using Exynos and the other using Qualcomm Snapdragon. I was going to be buying a phone outright- a phone I'd have for at least a few years- so I did my research on every single aspect I could possibly find. I almost bought the S20+ for under $1,000- until I noticed that it was the EXYNOS model. How the heck was I going to get to Legendary in CoDm with that!? Anyway... I purchased the Galaxy S20+ from Best Buy for $1,199.99. [ As an aside: There seems to be a weird issue between this phone and the CoDm server. I don't know what the deal is, because the stats for the S20+ are overall better than a lot of the "gaming phones" out there, and I have great network and WiFi connection. But I experience a lot of desync (I meet up with an opponent in match, I empty an entire clip on them before they even notice me or do anything, they shoot me once and I die- but killcam shows them seeing me first, emptying almost an entire clip on *me,* and me not even shooting, not going prone, sliding, jumping, ducking, or even looking anywhere near them....), sporadic lag, crazy wait times, getting kicked from games with a network error code.... and it happens way more in ranked matches than public matches, unfortunately. I tried getting a VPN and playing through another server, but I was kicked two of the times, and CoDm wouldn't even allow me to open the game on another occasion with the VPN on. I don't understand this, because streamers use VPNs all the time. And streamers also seem to have the advantage in the desync... I would have thought it would be the other way around and that the stream running would cause the missed connection. Maybe it works like a lag switch and it desyncs in their favor. I know they're great players, but I just have to wonder sometimes.... what's happening on the other side? ]
I would've asked so many questions that were already answered in the video if I didn't wait till the end XD - great stuff "Jerry" :)

Exynos devices have a power mode that is on optimized out of the box. I am not sure on Qualcomm how is set out of the box, but I am sure results will be different with high performance selected.
Car manufacturers do this all the time... An identical model sold in Mexico will not have all the required safety equipment as the same model sold in the US therefore cheaper but same name.
They should sell the Snapdragon processor version everywhere feels like a rip off if you do not live in the US.
Or at least sell it at a lower price point.
All they need to do is make the exynos 200 dollars cheaper
at their country Korea, they also removed exynos and using snapdragon SoC. What a shame
Or don't buy samsung garbage
to be fair to samsung, exynos used to be better than snapdragon up until galaxy s9, if you watch comparison videos s7 s8 exynos was better. so samsung is still improving on it, so what they should do is, provide both variants and let the user pick, but by default if a user doesnt pick they get exynos. and if lesser people by exynos after the next phone release then they reduce the prices of the exynos and still keep the snapdragon higher.
I couldn't agree more. They should remove the "Ultra" tag on the Exynos model.
thx for the honest review jerry
Hi Zack. Have you heard about the "Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro" phone- May be the only 2020 Samsung phone with a removable battery. Can you test it if Possible..!
Samsung: "But . . . we can save money over seas." Consumer: "Yup! Because we won't buy it!"
That is how it should work the reality is Consumer: "I'll buy it because I don't follow Jerry and don't know i'm getting cheated"
@@christianbay7614 Except that people are still buying exynos even though they know it's problems and ALL of them try to justify their purchase "the battery life is ok for me". I myself haven't bought it as I'd get the exynos variant and currently have the S10+ exynos (which is a great phone but fuck having an exynos worse battery life). I'm switching to the ROG 3 if I end up liking it. Sadly my order has been delayed 3 times. It was supposed to come 18.8 but it comes 22.9 atm
General customers dont know about processors......so samsung dont care......
What makes it worse is that in some markets it even costs more
Yeah, they cost an insane amount in non western countries
Yup we are getting Exynos 💩
Exactly, like in India, the Exynos variant cost is nearly $1450 (1,04,999 INR) for the base 256gb model.
Animesh Singh It’s because of export taxes, which are very high in some countries like India.
