  • the show is good, but a) it ends with a cliffhanger which very likely gets never resolved because of the very high production costs which they will never get completely back. It would need more than one billion of streaming hours to become profitable. b) rumours say they spent $20m per episode. Now I wonder, where exactly did the money go ? I guess parts of it goes to the CGI effects, but all CGI together would not even fill one whole episode, so where did the rest of the money go ? A lot of scenes don't look THAT expensive, especially the ones where almost nothing happnens. Maybe it would have been better to use all the wasted money and bring 1899 to a proper end (which deals with lots of VR as well, but was in total way cheaper in production).

  • I really like the cast and it does look interesting but honestly I’m put off by its creators, and i know the problem with them has been talked about to death. I’m sorry but for me to have any investment in what they do next, all they had to do was acknowledge their fans who wanted some sort of explanation as to wtf happened with GOT. I didn’t expect perfection with the final season of GOT, just something that at least made sense and stayed true to the characters. But in almost a hit and run accident kind of way, they crashed their show and ran. They stayed silent which just made it so much worse, they snubbed their fanbase who supported GOT for almost 10 years. Maybe i’ll check this out years from now when it’s all done.
