Imagine buying a 500$ nerf gun for a child. I remember when I was a kid and could only get the pop gun revolver for 2$
We literally fought with sticks and stones (like legit stones) in my childhood. But I mean, the times have changed. The modern world is all about consumerism and children toys can cost anything you are willing to spend, from $5 to $50000. I'm pretty sure some of this toys have better electronics than space satellites launched by both US and USSR during cold war.

Well, you have to remember inflation. And I'm sure there were nicer cap guns for more than $2. And I happen to know there were some exceptionally high-quality pedal cars, and those definitely cost the equivalent of 500 dollars.
I remember my first pop gun with the gunpowder caps...fired that thing out my mom's car window at the winn dixie parking lot in the early 2000s and scared the hell out of everyone entering the store. Shame the powder in the newer ones are no louder than a bubble wrap pop now.

But they're also nearly the same price. If i had to pay for an ultra 1 or hummingbird i'd go with the ultra 1 because i don't have the opportunity to go to many games and ofc i'd need lipos and a charger
I’d take the ps5 then sell it around the time that Christmas rolls in for $400 dollars more then I’d buy another ps5 2 months later and get a different dart gun that costs less than or equal to $400

I remember when automatic nerf guns first started coming out. Before motorized nerf guns, the closest one got to full auto was the ones where you had to pump air into them and they shot the entire mag, aka all slots at the front of the nerf gun.
God I love the 3rd party nerf stuff, even if it is expensive

"The performance isn't really what it should be" Pretty sure it wasn't ment to shoot for 1 meter
Even with the limited range shown here, it's a horrible underperformer even for it's line. It has the slowest velocity out of all the Ultra blasters out there, the trigger is real gritty and can skip darts, it takes expensive and heavy C-type batteries, and the Ultra darts are just way too bad to invest in a whole new ammo type (in a world where half darts and waffles are staples).

500$ for a “dart” gun 🤣 Mate, you can buy a Mossberg Maverick 88, throw some decent stuff on it, rail, decent optic, and new stock. Buy enough ammunition to last you awhile, and still be cheaper than this. Even so, the Ultra 1 is like 50$, which is respectable price I guess.

I hate it when nerf uses different ammo type on some guns. That special ammo gets lost easily and I can't use regular nerf darts because they will break inside the gun since "they're not made for those guns"

The problem is with the fast shooting ones you run out of bullets so fast that you have to reload constantly or if you don’t have another mag you have to pick up all the bullets and try to put them in the mag

This is called the "I am terrible with managing my money" gun. Nerf guns are for playing with children. That's why they don't normally shoot fast or hard. That's also why they are so much cheaper than, say, an airsoft gun. That $500 you spent on a nerf gun can be spent on an airsoft gun which will get you FAR more usefulness. You can't use that $500 against a child at full power. Anyone you CAN use it on, you can use an airsoft gun on. Hell, you can even do paintball instead. People are free to enjoy what they enjoy. But when you sit here and try to compare a $50 toy to a $500 toy, it's not only unfair to compare the quality, but also puts in the question of "Why is it $500, what is its purpose, and what is its usefulness?" It's a toy. Better have a good justification for that $500 you just blew.

The kronos is one of the best pistols, the zeus one of the best assault rifles, and they have the perfect minigun(forgot the name) among other perfectly fine guns.
