Jordan would average 50 in today's game -- the greatest that I ever saw -- the clearcut GOAT. Others don't even come close. People like Lebron are manufactured by the media for clicks and views. There’s a difference between being the best player ever as opposed to the most accomplished. LBJ is one of the greats. His high level of play for so many years is unsurpassed. He’ll top many of the all time lists of the most coveted stats. But to me, the most accomplished doesn’t mean the best. In their prime, at their best, MJ was the best player I’ve ever seen play. On both ends of the court. People say LBJ can guard all 5 positions. MJ did that nightly. One of the best blocking guards in nba history. And at steals. Blocked centers n PF’s regularly. When was the last time a player won a championship because they surpassed some career total milestone? Never. When was the last time a player won a championship because he was the most impactful per game player during that season? MANY TIMES.
