Evil empire the devs who have been working on dead cells for years are sure to make a great feeling game and I'll be very interested in how it turns out and my only concern is how far away the camera is from the character, hopefully it was like that just for the trailer and they bring it in closer for the game or at least give the option to adjust it.

@@abanomex9038 I get what you mean and while it can still be hard at times I have learnt to try and just except things like this as in I am just really happy that dead cells even exists and while it may not of finished in a way that you are happy with try not to focus on that too much and instead focus on all the hours of fun and entertainment that this game has brought to us. I played it years ago and stopped after only 20 hours but got it again recently and so much has been added and within an hour I found myself completely hooked all over again which is pretty rare for me these days, which to me shows how great it is. Again I know it can be hard but I try not to let the things I can not change about the game taint the awesome experience that is dead cells. 👍🙂

@@misira8256 this depends on what you mean by "didn't do well". Did it meet sales quota? No. But did it make a profit? Yes. As of the last recorded public sales figure, it made $15million total sales. Lost Crown certainly did not cost that much to develop.

i grew up loving the first 2 who were more about platforming and parkour than combat, but they just release battle focused platformers now it seems, dying breed.

This game was mentioned in a rumor that also mentioned SoT being remade, but from scratch since the trailer wasn't received well. Ubisoft is actually listening, I am shocked😂

@@tobyeaterofbark9582 that's not corpo art style at all, I can see where you bring the comparison, as the color palette is very common with that style. To me this looks more like a freestyle interpretation of the og msdos games, those had limited and somewhat unnatural color palettes. (not for the prince tho, usually enemies were a blue-purple-ish hue)

We Iranians hope that the game will have Persian dubbing or subtitles because his name is Prince of Iran and it is wise to have Persian dubbing so that Iranians who do not know English can play easily.

same here, but, I'm willing to give this game a fair shake. POP the lost crown was good, so I'm hoping that this one is good too. It helps that this one is being made by the guys behind dead cells

This looks fine but those 3d Prince of Persia games were things of wonder and beauty. Especially that one with a whirlwind at the end. Will we ever see those again because retro is all well and good but please don’t abandon the new stuff.
I sure hope so! This game doesn't interest me at all, at least for the moment. While the Lost Crown is an excellent game, I still want anither 3D PoP. Two back to back side scrolling games is starting to give me pause for concern.

Rogue Prince feels more like Prince of Persia than Lost crown.
I hope we seem some troops with Iranian inspired armor. The Medes and Persian had pretty interesting armor and a variety of military troops.

This is a remake of PoP using the Dead Cells rogue-like mechanism. It’s completely unoriginal, it’s a mash-up. A mash-up of two of the greatest games, so it’ll be great. But it’s definitely reusing existing everything.
