  • Clay is one of those rare humans that are genuine. He scored my Arkansas black bear which made and B&C that I took with a bow. He made everything seamless and I will always appreciate him for that.

  • Love seeing Clay on your podcast! His knowledge on hunting history, tips on how to fully use the animal, and the way he is bringing back the old world skills is refreshing in the hunting influencer era.

  • Awesome pod. To touch on what you said about spirituality around bears and native american philosophy. I myself am a Mohawk Bear clan bowhunter. We regard bears as the medicine keepers in the culture. Highest honour for an animal. For that reason I do not hunt bears. Keep hammering.

  • Great collective. Man deep deep thought you brought up. Are they trying to ruin hunting so it is unnessary to hunt? I am on track to take my first deer this year 2024. I'm wanting to do more research and maybe get into hunting coyote as well. Hunt the predators as well like you mentioned.
