@@ASTmasterhandle Well… it’s just that roblox is a very simple platform that doesn’t actually make its own games. Legally, they have to call them “experiences” otherwise it’s considered free labor since the company doesn’t pay developers fairly. Anyways, it’s fine if you like that game. Personally, I think Minecraft is the best of the three, but it was certainly fascinating learning about the ins and outs of roblox and the secrets they’re keeping from their young, gullible audience.

@@ASTmasterhandle well… the way roblox is designed is actually very shady if you really look into it. They only advertise large games with thousands of players in the “discover” tab and even the home page, making it more difficult for aspiring game developers. But oh wait! There’s a way to attract more players by paying robux to advertise your game on roblox. Why is this a bad thing? Roblox only advertises the larger games because what they earn is based on a percentage of what the game itself earns. Roblox gets 90% of all income from the game, then the developers get just 10%. If you want to make your game larger, sorry but people won’t play your game because those advertisements do absolutely nothing. The company doesn’t give you a higher paying option to show your add more or show more of them, it just takes your robux and your add and decides when to show it in a way that benefits them. Simply speaking, any profit you try to make will never be enough to be worth it. And, to top it all off, developers are paid in robux. The fake currency created by roblox. You can convert it into real money, but you have to be paying for a premium subscription and you can only convert a minimum of 100,000 robux (that’s equal to about 1000 U.S. Dollars). So unless your game can earn you 1,000 dollars, and your willing to invest 10 dollars a month to have the subscription, you won’t make anything even with a truly successful game. And with roblox’s young audience, they’ll most likely skip the converting money idea and go spend the robux instead. And guess where that money then eventually goes back to? Roblox.

From Mumbo's perspective that whole Grian bit was a lot more eerie and seemed like a moon related plot point for the server storyline (until the wither was actually spawned and he revealed himself), whereas from Grian's perspective it was a harmless silly prank from the get go. The fact that Mumbo couldn't hear Grian, but Grian could hear Mumbo made the whole situation so much better

@SillySanta I’m not. You are the second person to try this for me, and I’ll reiterate what I said to them. You can’t halfass content and go on a popular channel and beg for subs. You need to grow your sub count on your own and make your own brand, otherwise you’re just being another channel that begs but doesn’t give. It’s okay short term, but you will only suffer long term. To be fair, it was in a slightly smaller scale. But still impressive nonetheless. (And I think Scar had to visit the hospital a few times recently, so he would try and finish different projects in one sitting. I also think Grian enjoys doing slow progress, both enjoyment and content-wise. This is merely my observation though).

The time lapses really highlight the size of the moon. It's quite entertaining watching the tiny little sun rise and then the giant moon! Can you create a protective barrier out of obsidian around at least parts of the end crystals to protect as much as possible and then detonate them in water?

It's a great idea, however, as the moon effects are getting quite extreme, I am sure this moon thing is ending probably in the next episode, or maybe after it. If you watch Mumbo Jumbo, you will know that he himself just quit the mooners, so I think that this is ending soon. But it's an amazing idea nonetheless

I actually think that having other hermits "buy" the buildings so that they can make an interior of them in the alley which would give it more life I think than just filling the windows

So good to see such progress,and i really love the touch of B-Dubs and Scar, especially Scar's,it fits right in with Midnight Alley but it also adds another whole new layer of dimension as a whole.And although the entire episode was soaked up by fixing the damage done by wither skeleton,it was entertaining as always and I love how the topics vary,from scaring the sanity out of Mumbo to an almost finished Alley,see you soon.

You can actually prank you friends REALLY good if you make a wither and put on 2 of the heads and then break the bottom block, place down the last head, and replace the bottom block. It won't spawn, because, little, known fact, withers will only spawn if the last block placed is a head.

Legally, they have to call them “experiences” otherwise it’s considered free labor since the company doesn’t pay developers fairly. Anyways, it’s fine if you like that game. Personally, I think Minecraft is the best of the three, but it was certainly fascinating learning about the ins and outs of roblox and the secrets they’re keeping from their young, gullible audience.

They only advertise large games with thousands of players in the “discover” tab and even the home page, making it more difficult for aspiring game developers. But oh wait! There’s a way to attract more players by paying robux to advertise your game on roblox. Why is this a bad thing? Roblox only advertises the larger games because what they earn is based on a percentage of what the game itself earns. Roblox gets 90% of all income from the game, then the developers get just 10%. If you want to make your game larger, sorry but people won’t play your game because those advertisements do absolutely nothing. The company doesn’t give you a higher paying option to show your add more or show more of them, it just takes your robux and your add and decides when to show it in a way that benefits them. Simply speaking, any profit you try to make will never be enough to be worth it. And, to top it all off, developers are paid in robux. The fake currency created by roblox. You can convert it into real money, but you have to be paying for a premium subscription and you can only convert a minimum of 100,000 robux (that’s equal to about 1000 U.S. Dollars). So unless your game can earn you 1,000 dollars, and your willing to invest 10 dollars a month to have the subscription, you won’t make anything even with a truly successful game. And with roblox’s young audience, they’ll most likely skip the converting money idea and go spend the robux instead. And guess where that money then eventually goes back to? Roblox.

From Mumbo's perspective that whole Grian bit was a lot more eerie and seemed like a moon related plot point for the server storyline (until the wither was actually spawned and he revealed himself), whereas from Grian's perspective it was a harmless silly prank from the get go. The fact that Mumbo couldn't hear Grian, but Grian could hear Mumbo made the whole situation so much better

Another shop idea the "The Genie Pig" the the genie is just for a mystical pun but you can put a pig in the chambers and maybe a few different variations of potion effects to the pigs and maybe even a levitating one . Another note is its just a pun of Lab Guinea Pigs

Scar is a building machine, and a fine tuned one at that!
To be fair, it was in a slightly smaller scale. But still impressive nonetheless. (And I think Scar had to visit the hospital a few times recently, so he would try and finish different projects in one sitting. I also think Grian enjoys doing slow progress, both enjoyment and content-wise. This is merely my observation though).
Scar is just built different and has built differently. GoodTimesWithScsr really does do good in a small amount of time!

The Dead End is actually such a genius name for Scar’s section of the alley, I love that so much
The time lapses really highlight the size of the moon. It's quite entertaining watching the tiny little sun rise and then the giant moon! Can you create a protective barrier out of obsidian around at least parts of the end crystals to protect as much as possible and then detonate them in water?
Shop idea for midnight alley: Seeing as you won’t be sleeping for the foreseeable future might it not be a great idea to build a coffee shop? And a name idea for it could be moonbucks! Wouldn’t that be fitting, considering your a Mooner and all that?

It's a great idea, however, as the moon effects are getting quite extreme, I am sure this moon thing is ending probably in the next episode, or maybe after it. If you watch Mumbo Jumbo, you will know that he himself just quit the mooners, so I think that this is ending soon. But it's an amazing idea nonetheless

Having watched Mumbo's POV, then Grian's, I can honestly say this is a perfect instance of "It's not a bug, it's a feature". God that invisibility could be used for so many pranks, it's amazing!

THIS. I fully support this. Good interior for Grian's builds AND an interesting challenge for hermits to do provided they're up to the task.
This is the first season of Hermitcraft I've watched and I'm completely hooked! I love all the creative builds, redstone tech, friendships, and especially the shenanigans!💕
So good to see such progress,and i really love the touch of B-Dubs and Scar, especially Scar's,it fits right in with Midnight Alley but it also adds another whole new layer of dimension as a whole.And although the entire episode was soaked up by fixing the damage done by wither skeleton,it was entertaining as always and I love how the topics vary,from scaring the sanity out of Mumbo to an almost finished Alley,see you soon.

2 shop ideas: Make a hotel which uses magic (red stone) and serves the guests in a magical manner. Or a realestate building of where people can rent your buildings and turn the interior into whatever they want and they have to pay you for having their stuff there.
Some shop interior ideas: A very small museum with a grumpy attendant, a jeweler, a tax attorney, a haunted house (THAT house on the block), a pub, a food market
The whole prank from Mumbo's perspective was terrifying! The fact that he literally couldn't see nor hear anything made me genuenly believe it's some hallucination/moon story, but no it's just Grian XD
I know it'd be a bit time consuming to do, but I think that in Scar's extra alley specifically the night sky should be lowered a bit further down to give a more claustrophobic, shadowy element to the already shady area. Honestly, I'm really impressed on the work on Midnight Alley as a whole! :D

I fully thought it was a planned thing because of the sheer number of wither skulls, but it just made the reveal of it being grian so much better

You can actually prank you friends REALLY good if you make a wither and put on 2 of the heads and then break the bottom block, place down the last head, and replace the bottom block. It won't spawn, because, little, known fact, withers will only spawn if the last block placed is a head.
