This is a fully animated cartoon of @GoodTimesWithScar pranking @Grian during season 8 of Hermitcraft. I used audio from @GoodTimesWithScar's video of this event, but all the art, and added sound effects are my own.
I hope you enjoy my artistic rendition of their shenanigans in 2D.

OMG I love the extra details you placed from Grian's pesky bird wings to his sneaky reactions when scar wasn't around. The camera angles and amazing postures really give life to the animation. The lip-syncing is phenomenal, It really seems like they are speaking themselves. The first person camera prespective and the transition to that is sooooooo AMAZING(at 1:25). It must have take you a lot of effort and determination which I really respect. You earned a sub!

The animation technique is good. Very detailed. It actually looks like the characters are saying the words, its not just flapping mouth opening and closing. Very good job on this @Snazzysketcher!

I do want the lines to look a little clearer and less pixelated, but I don't think that's going to mar the aesthetic. I think the aesthetic comes from me hand-drawing it all, and since I personally prefer 2d animation, I won't likely change that. Thanks for commenting, and I am glad you like my little videos. I am being 100% serious here, but out of ALL the animations ive seen of this scene, i think this one has to be, not only my favourite, but also the best ive seen so far. I love the creative ways you animated some of the parts, like with the whole Scar holding a cam-corder which, might i add, has the "handheld" style movements done so incredibly well and i especially love the fumbling sounds you added to it as well. Everything else is just so good, i cant really see or think of anything that could warrent constructive criticism.

Thank you! I guess it IS a little old school, because all the images are hand drawn. So if you noticed anything shifting around a bit, that's why. I'm getting better as I go, and I'm using the copy function a little more, so hopefully I can minimize that. I'm glad you enjoyed so much! Thanks for giving it a chance! This is actually really impressive animation, just the way they move and act with all the little details and especially when they’re in the minecart and spinning on the tracks! Also the extra sound effects are amazing, I’m definitely subscribing!

I am commenting again to reiterate: This is probably my favourite hermitcraft animation. I love what other animators have made, but this has to be my favoutite for how funny, expressive and goofy it is.

seriously, stick with this. hermitcraft is very popular, and animation bits from it are as well. this is the first and only (as far as i am aware) channel that uses real, color animation. it will not be long before this channel becomes very popular. or, at least, that is my prediction. well done. ❤

@@Snazzysketcher have you ever considered longer run presentations? i don't think i have ever seen an animation that was more than a couple minutes. i would love to see something in the 10 -15 minute range, especially if it draws from a variety of perspectives (videos) and edits down some good story material. i would literally love to watch an entire animated hermitcraft show! 😁😄
@@ashenbreeseThat would definitely be awesome! Maybe when I am more skilled with animation in general. I only started animating regularly this year! Before this I would make little personal ones about various things, but never very long, and never with audio. I think a 10 minute long one might take months! I draw all of these by hand, and I don't know much about programming to try speeding the process up. Maybe if this starts really going somewhere, I will invest in a better program. Thanks for the idea and I will definitely keep it in mind!

@@Snazzysketcher I think @Drawlistics has a community post explaining a thing they do to help themselves when animating. You can read it yourself when you can but in short; making a catalogue of facial expressions, faces and directions the characters face for reference and reuse.

Wow thanks! I am working on making my animations less pixelated. I've realized I can manipulate the program in a way that in theory, will help round the edges. Currently working on a new one with this technique, so we'll see how it goes. Thanks for watching and giving it a chance!
