More so in that his talent was effectively sliced in half with his knee, but he was still among the world's best for many years after. I don't know why some Cr7 fans are complaining. It's R9's dream team and to be honest it's the strongest team. Cr7 isn't good enough to replace any of those forwards. He's way too selfish and will make any team complicated.

I've seen a few of these from other players but this one is the scariest. this team doesn't need to defend. they will score every time they have the ball. it's all about sending the ball forward and feed Pele or Ronaldo who will absolutely will smash it in.

What I notice that when legendary players name their best XI , its usually includes players from Italy, Argentina, Brazill, France, Netherlands, but rarely a German.
Vic Rattlehead only German worth on the list is Beckenbauer.

My XI: Buffon Dani Alves - Cannavaro - Nesta - Maldini Vieira - Pirlo - Zidane Messi - Ronaldo - Ronaldinho
Some may wonder why is there Dani Alves instead of Cafu, or why is there Vieira.... well i tried to take in consideration chemistry between players. I didn't do the best eleven based on the best players on each position, but i actually think this team would be the best TEAM ever. That's why you see Italian chemistry in defense, Zidane - Vieira partnership in midfield, Dani Avles - Messi chemistry on the right flank and Ronaldinho - Ronaldo Brazilian magic in front, rather than egoistic Cristiano who you might argue is individually the best winger ever, but i just don't think he is the best team player material. Cohesion is as important as individual qualities.

As a 4-4-2 yes. Its one of the best starting XI ever... I would go for a 4-3-3. I would keep everything he said, I would only replace Pirlo as midfield and add CR7 as forward... dont get me wrong pirlo was amaizing... but I have to sacrifice one midfield player to add an attacking player since 4-3-3.
