Getting my Dad's M3 road ready at the new shop
I'm thinking of interviewing my Dad on the story of his M3. Is this something you'd like to see? My goal is to drop 1 new long form video each week. Thank you guys so much for watching!

Nothing but the best for the Jamie's Dadsmobile
You know it!
That is one of my dream cars right there. Color and all. Cool video. Thanks for sharing.
Appreciate it! It used to belong to my customer, I've been taking care of this car for 10 years!
such an amazing BMW love it
lol on the PS reservoir leak - the E90s are the same. The new one leaks almost as bad as the old one, right out the box! 😂
Awesome video!
All those months, I kept my subscription, and I waited for new content. It finally paid off. Great channel! ✌️ Keep them coming, Jamie. Congratulations on the success of your new location.
Thanks for sticking around! More content coming
That is the definitive dream shop, great job, love your vids 👍👍
Thanks 👍
more of that beast 335d content please !
I have a few videos for the 335d starting with this one: kzhead.info/sun/mNZsmdmnoV-IYI0/bejne.htmlsi=GWqCqGCkGTzZVsgi
👌🏽
I can’t tell if he’s joking: is 60k rod bearings seriously considered a maintenance item?
😂
They also want you to manually adjust valve lash every 30k miles or so.
Yep, that's the cost of having a M3 e46
It's a sports car thing, really. The M3 is a sports car, BMW expects people to drive them way harder than your average daily driver, therefore specs are a lot tighter and many drivetrain parts wear out much faster than on daily drivers.
@@hauptmannoffensichtlich2312it's not a drag car, just a shitty engine design
Notification Squad!🔥🔥🔥
E46 best car 😅 Just got my MaxxECU for my 330ci turbo. Getting ready to get that tuned and a Dodge 8hp70 installed. Should be a ripper.
Awesome!!
Genuine question... Are you replacing the rod bearing without doing a clearance check? Or is there no need considering your not replacing the rod itself?? Great video as always 🔥
Another great job as usual commpleted by Jamie and his crew! BTW - Jamie, I think your Aunt Lisa needs this car instead of your dad. =0)
Thank you! You'll need to discuss that with him, LOL
is it my imagination or are old school BMWs like this M3 coupe more fun to work on? (compared to recent M3 within the last 3 to 5 years) Just wondering.... 😍
I'd much rather work on the older BMWs
Need to get rid of that rubber steering guibo and get a solid one, night and day difference for steering feel
Hey Jamie, an old subscriber here, you owe me a signed mug that I never had the chance to collect 😅 Anyways its always nice to see you back on the feed doing good work on bmws.
Thanks for sticking with me! Now, remind me about this mug... 🤔
please open branch in kuwait there is no specialist in german cars here
How much would all that work cost with you?
Out of curiosity, do you think this should be done with an e46 330i with 267k miles on it. The engine has NO Oil Leaks or Vacuum Leaks and produces great power. A Lot of maintenance stuff was recently done, full Cooling system replacement, full vacuum hoses, all new sensors, new intake gasket and TB gasket, new DISA, oil pan gasket was redone recently as well.
Nope I leave it alone
No, that engine is good. No rod bearings needed 👍
@@JamiesGarage1 Thank you!
I am EARLY! Like my comment Jamie!
💪
E46 is such a timeless look. I miss the few I had
Like the detail and the explanations but I think comparing the length of a bolt that was fitted and another from a completely different batch down to 0.025" is not really going to give a valid comparison. Measure BMW bolt, fit it and torque to BMW spec, then measure the same bolt and see where you end up.
Excellent point, I actually exactly that in another video: kzhead.info/sun/frp-Y5Zqq1-lpK8/bejne.htmlsi=Lzbl7czQsWSL5qTe
Elite is the BEST!
