Would def go with the Razer Huntsman purely because of the switches. Cherry MX really needs to innovate and step up their game in a world of optical switches, kaihl box switches, topre, etc.

Every time Razer drops a new product, it sends shockwaves through the community. No other company is delivering so consistancy right now. This board is no exception and is a great choice if you're already balls deep in to the Razer ecosystem. For me personally, I have the ducky one2 mini and would still choose this board (right next to my Razer Mamba TE) for one reason only, switch choice. If Razer has a silent tactile option similar to the MX brown I have on my one2 mini (which is easily the most popular option), then I think ducky will have a fight on their hands...

The razer one looks very flat and rounded while the ducky is high profile and more compact looking because of the case. I don’t like the sound of the razer switches but I know that they are a million times smoother than cherry switches.

The stock Razer Huntsman's PBT keycaps have some illumination issue where parts of the symbols are blacked out. Is this the case for the Mini version of the PBT?
No. They fixed it and made it much more brighter. Including the overall sound of the switches.

If you're gonna spend 100 plus on a 60% keeb, it's prolly gonna be a better idea to go with a big company like razer that has a warranty, has the product in stock and can ship it within days.
+1 i updated my Ducky one 2 mini firmware, and it completly bricked.. its broken now, and ducky dont give a shit about it :D they say its a fake keyboard :D which it is deffinetly not... shit company

Do you know the extent of the Razer software? Like say i want to swap the FN key with the Alt key to the left of it, then rebind 4 keys to make an arrow button cluster, is that possible?

Very late comment but yeah you can reprogram the keys on your razer keyboard, I think one of the keys wasn’t programmable and it might of been the FN or alt key but don’t quote me on that

Probably, you will just have to memorise the input commands for the other keys such as f1, f2 ect

BTW: If you have a Huntsman Mini and use Matrix or other keycap sets , you can take out the Gray Stabilizer's ( on the bottom of the keycaps you got to pull the out lol) and pop them into the new keycaps ( has to be Cherry MX stemmed) ones. I didn't realize this and I think other's might want to know!

ive noticed all the youtubers that have done reviews on the huntsman mini have linked only the purple switch version and the places ive looked at the red version is either not available (amazon) or not on the site at all (Bestbuy) just curious if its not out yet or maybe someone has an answer on why i cant seem to find the red linear version anywhere.

I think you should have used the stock ducky one2 mini spacebar it makes, in my opinion, it quieter.

Just picked up a Hunstman mini with the red switches, and it feels so good. I added some rubber o-rings to the spacebar stabilizers and foam inside of the casing of the board itself, and it is perfection in both feel and sound.
i bought this as well, im having some weird issues with keys not registering sometimes like strafing in competitive games wont register and will cause my death :( i think im gonna go w the ducky now i believe razer synapse is the issue

You used the backlit spacebar for soundtest wich give it some more ping than its stock spacebar. Thats why you should use the stock spacebar rather than the backlit one for sound test

Realy good video but there are some mistakes 1. ducky has also a tkl version and 2. they offer a nother switch typ named mx speed silver
