The player raced all the way down the field, could have scored himself, had 3 other players to square to and he squared to his captain to get the easy goal. That deserves some respect~
Sorry, but its the most logical decision for Kampl, that has nothing to do with respect or that it is the captain of him, he was just the player being in the best position to score.
@@lieberanonym8040 there was 1 player further away from them who would have the highest chance. Kampl had lots of high percentage chance to score on the breakaway. When he squared to the captain, there was another player in the way and the ball was played partially behind him to the captain. I would still feel its a deliberate pass.

Exactly. He is one of our best players without a doubt. Couple of mistakes could've been avoided but he deserves a lot. Not such hate and criticism for his "one" blunder. If it wasn't for him, our season would've been worse than what it is. Our defense is not complete yet.

I’ve been a huge fan of Dortmund since since the days of auba and lewa and kagawa over the years they seem to always bottle it when they are needed to win they falter
Exactly. They never had a champion mindset. Coaches and players all seem fine to me. Management should make a clear statement about their intention to become champions, if at all they have any. They should make sure to keep most possible players and should buy 1 or 2 world class players and make a statement about their intention to become one of Europe's best. They should stop playing games just to market their "best" players to sell them for millions. Just like they are doing this season with Bellingham. This mindset will never bring results. This is one strong reason why Dortmund bottles every time, when their "best" Talent is about to sign out for millions, they lose their intention to win games. They go out seeking the next "best" Stars and forget about everything else.
And coaches can't be expected to build a squad every now and then. Especially if the team is selling "reliable" Players all the time, the coaches wouldn't have anything to work for this team. If I am a coach, I am not developing a player just to market him to sell him. I need him atleast for 3,4 seasons to build a strong squad. This is the reason why even klopp couldn't withstand even after having the club's best run. Management doesn't care about holding the team, so why should the manager be bothered about the squad and results. So the coaches also wear out after some time. This has been happening for a whole decade now.

@@wosh253 tbf, they’re still two points off bayern in the league. They’ve lost three games and drawn one in the past month, which sucks considering their run in Jan-Feb. That rough patch coincided with some critical injuries and if there’s one major problem with Dortmund, it’s lack of squad depth. Also, key players like Bellingham have been on the brink of injury for the past month and are clearly not in form, which again disproportionately impacts the team because of lack of squad depth. That said, some players are coming back from injury now and Dortmund still have a chance in the league, they just have to fight for it.

They always give up too quickly. Either they concede and give up and lose the match or they give up the title race just because they lost one game against bayern. I wouldn't be surprised if the latter happens again this season. Just because they lost der klassiker, bvb will lose its mentality and give up on the title race and finish 2nd Or 3rd. They never play like champions when it is needed.

The problem i've had with Dortmund for years, is that they always look like they've got a chance at winning a trophy then they always bottle their chances towards the end of the season. The team needs proper leaders and more experienced players. Players that know what winning trophies are. The team looked so Dynamic last year and now they look so one dimensional. They really should have kept Tuchel. I saw dortmund live during those Tuchel days and man, he was the best replacement for Klopp.
Yeah I completely agree, not a Dortmund fan myself but I was really fascinated by them during their Klopp era- particularly the peak (2012-13) and what they were doing in the Champions League, beating Bayern to two titles was impressive enough but to get to a CL final that's incredibly impressive as well. So when I saw their gradual decline from the 2014-15 season and that Klopp had announced his departure, I was curious as to who'd continue Dortmund's success, then when Tuchel arrived I was convinced he had a great 1st season it was unlucky that he didn't finish with silverware. He beat a strong Tottenham in the Europa League but lost out to a Liverpool comeback in the next round, finished with 78 points (which in other seasons would have got the title) and got them to the cup final in which they were unlucky to lose on pens. Then in the following season he won the DFB-Pokal. You'd think he was steering them in the right direction and Dortmund had found their man, however it wasn't necessarily league form that got Tuchel sacked, it was the disagreements between him and the board especially Hans Joachim Watzke and because of that they couldn't continue anymore. Moreover that seems to be a recurring theme with him as he was sacked in exactly the same way at PSG and Chelsea. But when you look at how he got his team playing he made Dortmund a far tougher team to play against (especially Bayern) compared to the subsequent managers that came after him.
@@shaf621 the problem with klopp is that his football isn’t that sustainable, he burns the players out and there’s always an expiry date. We’re seeing it with liverpool now. He plays very high intensity football and that takes a toll on players, even the young ones, so there’s a limit to how long his success lasts at each club.
