  • I have tried this method for jewelry making. It seems that there are different types of cd's. Some are easy to cut others are too hard. .Even putting them in hot water some just wont cut so nicely. I suggest a very good sccisors Like the ones used to cut leather. DVDS are awful for cutting rounded or curves. ..They just crack and break. My experience is that the best cds' are the one you buy for burning music or the cds' for data.
