He’s gone when his rookie deal is up.. Why would an elite WR want to play with a QB who doesn’t throw a bunch of TDs? Going weeks without catching the ball. Smitty is just as good as Jefferson but he plays in a generic passing scheme with a QB who’s a slightly above average thrower so his stats are ok but not where they can be. Hurts is the recipient of a great surrounding cast. When the Eagles can’t run the ball they don’t win. Hurts had 370 passing yards but we still lost the Superbowl because passing is not our identity. Hurts had a huge fumble that cost his team 7 points. 4 out of his last 5 games including the playoffs he’s thrown for under 200 yards. How do you throw for under 200 yards with the talent we have at WR and TE? Quez Watkins is totally fazed out. Jalen is a fraud I thought after the SB performance he would come out smoking early but the Superbowl was an anomaly and those other games were the norm. He got paid when in reality he hogs the ball for one yard TDs which takes money out of the RBs pockets and adds to his resume of TDs. Then he frequently doesn’t see WRs who are wide open so he scrambles for yards which takes money out of their pocket and adds to his pockets because it adds to his productivity.

As I remember the birds had injuries last season too. CJGJ got hurt with the kidneys and Hurts missed some games. Don't forget Lane and Maddox missed some games Nobody has a perfect injury free season. Hell they had a ton of injuries 2017 going for the SB.

get that 3rd W in Tampa then we can start to settle down and calm nerves... 3 weeks in a row of facing insane defensive minds in Belichick, Flores, and now Bowles, not easy at all. Going to be another tough matchup with Bowles bringing all sorts of pressure. Hope to see a big redemption from Hurts compared to his 2021 playoff game there which is probably one of his worst ever games.
Yea, I'm a little worried because Belichick showed something that the Vikings repeated. Jalen seems to struggle against Cover 0 and a LB spying his running. Fortunately, the running game took over, but just good enough Jalen isn't going to win us a Superbowl.
Jalen 2nd half vs Vikings was 2022 Hurts. Not worried about him. They came up against two crazy defensive coaches while Brian Johnson is just getting started as OC and had questionable calls. Also, vs Vikings, they were dropping 7/8 in coverage so it was impossible to pass. @@firingallcylinders2949

This was amazing to watch. Stunning shots of the pregame and the atmosphere, really captured the intensity. Love seeing Jalen Hurts leading pre and post game. This is a new team, a new climb. There's no one more trustworthy to spearhead it, and the addition of Swift (if he stays healthy) is going to make this offense absolutely lethal. Moreso than last year. Smith is an exemplary teammate and it's a joy to watch him get better with every game. Has to be a career Eagle.
