Those gafftop sailfish are so slimy and very good eating!! Just look 👀 out for the fins cause they will definitely stick you and it hurts!! If by chance that happens put the slim on your wound it helps with the pain,Amen!!🙏!! Fish 🎣 on!!😇

You can eat gaftop’s, and if you get stuck by the fins the slime on the catfish is the antidote, just rub it off with a knife and put it on whenever it stuck you within 15 minutes no pain or discomfort swelling works every time. Hopefully that helps you, been doing this for 50 years.

Good chance, they love crab and cut mullet. Gaftop obviously love mullet too. Crab I’ve never caught anything but black and red drum. But the little nibblers can burrow in and eat the meat out of the crab. So I usually get 8 crab to sit out there all day. Just have to put a fresh piece on when all the meat and cartilage is gone. But sometimes the drum will pickup just the shell.

@@savedbygraceoutdoors the bite was on this morning ! we caught two black drum on bull red , then we moved to the flood gate and got into the trout with popping corks live shrimp

Yes they are good eating. Wish they had more meat on them. A lot of work to clean for what little boneless meat you get.
