Marble Race: ML22 E10: Outdoor Triathlon | Jelle's Marble Runs
This time we go outdoors! A different location, but still the ol' good triathlon! First our 16 competitors will descend down the Marbula 1 track's twists and turns, then roll on the Sand Course like the legendary SMR athletes, to go on the final part! A deep breath and the fastest in the water gets it all! But who will it be this time?

I've been skeptical of Cosmo based on past performances but this was STELLAR! Way to go, captain!
He's a great fighter but should keep the violence off the track. Disgusting that Galactic fans are okay with that kind of poor sportsmanship just because of a medal.

@@colorfulmarbles156 I looked up that exact event to see if there was a difference. The difference was that the rollers were pushed off the track from the border, while the wisps were pushed into the barrier and bounced over it. It’s subtle, but it’s the difference between pushing someone to the ground, and tripping someone who loses their balance and then falls after the fact.
It is devastating to see the Midnight Wisps fall so hard in the last couple of years. I hope next year the group can do better.
It's been a really difficult couple of seasons to be a wisps fan. I think wispy is getting old and newer talent needs to be added to the team

Flav continues to be the only member of the Maniacs who can hold his own in the Marble League, but even that's not enough anymore. It's been a genuine heartbreak to watch the team go from Bronze finishers in 2020 to near-bottom in every event. Team Galactic though, holy cow! A breathtaking Cinderella season.
Minty maniacs got messed up by the water which is just unfair and makes being in a close lead leading into it a detriment

Yeah, I was hoping that they could make some places good in the water, but at this point, there was just not enough room to move.
It was so annoying seeing them get blocked when they tried to maneuver around other teams😭

Considering how the last League went, this is par for the course. They floundered until the very end and suddenly shot to 3rd.
i think this is their strategy, start of decently then conserve energy by doing below average then when nearing the end burst forward using that conserved energy.
I think this was the best water stage we've seen. So many position changes in those last few seconds!

Rapidly had a really bad transfer into water, but still good to see he’s gotten better at maneuvering regular track.
One has to wonder if the team might need a water specialist that can do these races with critical water sections.
Yeah, water has historically been his struggle. If I remember correctly, that was the part of the track that he struggled in last year as well. I think it was also rapidly who choked in the water race in 2017.

@@WonderMotion true, especially in the track section. A lot of time to be lost, more like a battle of attrition than that of racing lines. But it is a triathlon so I think that was the point.
No matter what happens from here out, I'm so proud of Team Galactic. 4 Medals. All gold! It's been a great ride this league.

Team Galactic have now tied the record for most golds with Savage speeders (2016) and minty maniacs (2020) Edit: this is the fastest a team has achieved it as well hoping they can get the 5th gold

2017, 2018, 2019, and 2021 had at least one incident of a fan marble(s) either streaking onto the field or fighting in the stands. Who can forget the 2019 qualifier brawl between Team Primary fans and Raspberry Racers fans after the Relay Run?

Great to see that we are excelling at the individual events as well, and it must be a wonderful feeling for our captain to get their first gold on their own! I also love how diverse our wins have been - team, individual, partner; speed, strength, and agility. It shows such great versatility from our athletes this year. @@colorfulmarbles156 Last year the Bumblebees bought the Hornets and now Stinger and Hive are part of the main team of the Bumblebees. Swax has become a reserve, Bomble and Bea aren't joining this season. It means that they have a lot of athletes to choose from every year.

After seeing marble leagues where galactic was perpetually 5th-7th place (or not even making the marble league at all), this has been paradise seeing our team perform so admirably There’s still plenty of events and we’ve been a bit of feast or famine this marble league. I think a podium or two to close things out will finally give us a championship. Either way, it’s been a great marble league, and it’s always a hell of a lot of fun to watch! Thank you JMR! As a Midnight Wisps fan, I almost threw my laptop after the performance of my team this event. At this point, I'm hoping they just create a trophy for last place cuz we aren't getting anything going.

So CCE got disqualified for accidentally knocking someone off a course last year, but nobody got DQ’ed for knocking the Wisps off???

With the Hazers not qualifying this year, I decided to put my hopes on Team Galactic, and I think I'm a fan for life now, they have been KILLING IT. #ReachForTheStars
Can't help but recall a similar incident last year which disqualified Blue Eye from the entire event, however this is fine? I wouldn't care but the fact there was 0 penalty certainly has implications on... well, everything.

WTF is going on with the Midnight Wisps this ML. This is a complete disaster
