Where RN3 excels is with the in-traffic battles. He's honed in on when to draft, when to juke, and, if necessary, when to muscle. Sure, he has good-not-great speed, but it's his peloton work that gives him consistent top-10 finishes. I mean, he started in 20th position twice this season and still got results. Love him or hate him, you have to admire that he's done his homework. I think a lot of other marbles need to hit the film room and buckle down more on figuring out how to exploit their opponents' tendencies.
That’s what’s incredible about RN3. I’ve never seen anyone react to situations as quickly as he can. He can see an opening and take advantage of it before his competitors even know they have a problem. It’s almost unnatural.

One of the marbles quit the race due to fatigue. God, I love these races.
Red number 3 once told me. That when he was young and still in school. All the other marbles made fun of him for having a hole in the middle of him. Then he told me. That he promised himself and all the marbles who picked on him. That one day he would make it as a big time marble racer. And that he would one day be a back to back champion. Skip forward all these years later. Here he is...Big time marble racer and back to back champion. He sure did prove all the haters wrong!

It's just a shame how racist people can sound when they pick on someone different. Just because you have a key chain on your head doesn't mean you can't be a marble. It's like saying Jackie Robinson is not a being just because of his skin color.

The top 7 moments of this season: 1. The incredible overtake maneuver by Pollo Loco in Race 6. 2. Comeback of Ghost Plasma. 3. The largest margin of victory ever, achieved by RN3 in Race 5. 4. Dragon's Egg stoppage due to fatigue in Race 1. 5. CCE not getting to the overall podium after getting the highest amount of medals. 6. MMM losing two great races in a row after going off the track in Race 2 and then getting stuck in the middle of Race 3. 7. "False" start two races in a row.

Watching this again giving me a better understanding on why RN3 is such a legends. Yeah, sometimes he wins by miles ahead the competitor. But we often forget he has always been skillful and entertaining to watch. His technique slipping past other racer is outstanding. He is the one that can raise from the back of the pack to top 10. He is much more than just a winner. He is a hardworking marble. He is a legend.

I absolutely love how our brains our able to personify marbles to this degree. We give them an identity, we root for unsure victories and we attribute qualities and have a feeling that certain marbles possess skill. Just goes to show how our brains are like self-writing software and can even get a thorough understanding of performance of marble relative to other marbles in certain conditions without having a clue why one marble is more suited for a terrain than another

The drama potential, production value and acting is wayyy better than the entire star wars sequel trilogy.
The first ever Sand Marble Race I watched was a few years ago. It was then I started rooting for Red Number 3. Because he stood out. In a good way. After being able to watch the entirety of the SMR 2017 and 2018 I unfortunately couldn't watch any of 2019 because I was busy with school stuff. Catching up with 2019, I'm glad he won again. #3forRN3 2020 anyone?

Red Number 3 is overrated but the thing is he deserves it. How many races has he won or got on the podium? And does his best in pressure and pushes his way through. Red Number 3 deserves it. Definitely my favorite competitor in the Sand Marble Rally.

The first video I watched on this Channel was a marble rally race and I immediately started rooting for RN3. He’s a Marble Legend.
Ghost Plasma is the definition of consistency, the sheer number of top 5 he made and reaching that spot on the podium with only 1 bronze. Sad that RN3 played the block so much in the last race but that's the game too, training the draft techniques for next year will propel him to the first place no doubt

Greg is a fabulous commentator. I hope in the future we get closeup, slow-motion footage with lots of strategy discussion. More talk about what the marbles are thinking, what they see (cue digital pens with arrows), etc. Sort of John Madden style.

An insider told me that Red number 3 made changes to balance and aerodynamics to help while in traffic. Also sources confirmed that RN3 will compete for a third national title AND in several international events. He may contend for the International title if he gains enough sponsorship support. 2020 is going to be a great year for us RN3 fans!

Hi guys, My 12-yr-old son literally spends hours watching your races, so much so that he's decided he'd like to try and build a course of his own. First, though, he should buy a decent number of marbles. Problem is, we seem unable to find what we need: most marbles on sale on the Internet come in boxes of maybe 100 or more, not to mention the fact that they're all the same. Could you please advise on some kind of 'starter pack' featuring a dozen marbles or so, ideally each of a different colour/pattern? Thanks a lot in advance and keep up the good work!

Some days I wonder why my parents like sports so much. Some days I say sports are boring. And then I see things like this. I retract my statements.
Oh yeah, I always wondered why grown up people stare at the screen in which other people exercise, but how wrong I was! I was indeed!
I subscribed because it gave us here at home during this quarantine some laughs and smiles. The kids picked their favorite marbles and followed them throughout the video. They were so excited about the marbles, that's all they talked about during a dinner break. Great idea and I will share with others.

when i was a kid living in brooklyn in the late 60's and 70's, we would either wait for the big kids to turn on johnny pump A.K.A fire hydrant or a heavy summer rain, we would hunt for wooden ice cream sticks and write our names on them. then we would go to the end of our street and hold our sticks in the water and shout ready, set, go and let go and the sticks would race along the curb flowing with the currant, just like that secne from IT and we had to catch them before they went down the drain. man what we could have did with some lego's and some hot wheel tracks....for that reason......i totally get this. i've subbed...NOW LEAVE ME ALONE I'M BUSY.
