Kobe mastered both ends of the court. The only other player that mastered both ends of the court is Jordan. Unfortunate the league and media refused to include Kobe in the Goat dialogue. Instead the media chose a player that has a losing record in the Finals (L3-6ron) to compare with Jordan and anyone with basic common sense knows there is no comparison. The media is a complete joke and a propaganda machine. Thank you Kobe for your displaying your discipline, work ethic and skill to the world.

This lakers team was never built “around Kobe” it was built to grow together. That’s what teams should be like. Kobe Bryant grew with this team and trading for Pau just put it over the top. Instead of building a team to help a player succeed, ahem Lebron, build a team to succeed as a team whether the player is in a great place to get ridiculous numbers or not. Kobe could’ve done better with more shooting but the chemistry of the team, especially defensively, was more important. Lakers ownership knew he’d find a way to do his thing no matter what.

Kobe was one of the most exciting players to watch because he could do whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted... he could be passive while allowing his teammates to score and then he could just explode out of nowhere. It doesn't make sense how Steve Nash won 2 MVP's before Kobe won his first one that same season, that is a complete joke! If you asked Kobe how many MVPs he should've had, he probably could've cared less because his main priority was winning, but there's no doubt that he should have at least 4 MVPs to his name.

@Kommunik8Moor4 жыл бұрын
@@Kommunik8Moor who? Harden or Kobe cause at this timestamp it's not a travel. Harden doesn't travel more often than not it's just when he doesn't do the move correctly. It's the 1 or 2 times he travels every 5 or so games other than those times the move is almost impossible to guard.
@xDreMack4 жыл бұрын
@@xDreMack you must be looking through harden proof glasses. He walks more than anyone else. He may not get the call on him but he is walking. AI seen it himself. "That used to be a walk when I played" Harden is a good player not great he pushes of usually to create space and his defense is lacking. Plus when he had his opportunity to be that man he absolutely fell flat and has yet to win a playoff series in the role as that man.
@Kommunik8Moor4 жыл бұрын
@@Kommunik8Moor yea the rules have changed since A.I. playing days but when Harden does the move correctly it's not a travel the refs would call it if he was travelling. A.I. might be jaded that he was called for carrying the ball on his signature crossover to the point where he had to modify his dribbling. He's basically doing a backwards euro step into a three which is insane considering that he has to first change his momentum and makes that shot at a high rate. I'm not a big James Harden fan so his playoff success is irrelevant to me. I just like how he's been able to manipulate the rules to come up with an unstoppable move. He'll be doing this the rest of his career so idk what to tell you bro.

Kobe Career Numbers from 00-13: He averaged 29.8 ppg, 6.1 rebs, 5.6 assists on 49% shooting. Michael Jordan Career Numbers from 85-98: He averaged 30.6 ppg, 6.1 rebs, and 5.2 asts on 50% THE NUMBERS ARE BASICALLY THE SAME!!!!! That shouldnt be the case when Kobe had significantly more injuries, and had to put up tougher shots. During that period yes Jordan led the league in scoring 10 times but when you in a league where your the only guard that can score in bunches what were you supposed to do? I say you put Kobe in the same system where there's no zone defense and people have to either 100% guard Kobe one on one or 100% double team Kobe would average more than Jordan's career high which 37ppg. Why do I say that? Because Kobe averaged 35 in a league where teams barely averaged over 95 points per game. Jordan averaged 37 in a league where teams where averaging 100 and above points easily.

gerald gabad I prefer their 90s jerseys that Charles Barkley wore, in a modern fit. I also think the Pistons should definitely wear the same jerseys Isiah Thomas and the bad boys wore but in a modern fit. They already went back to the classic logo so why not
8:53 wow that footwork was so nice Kobe even juked Coach D’antoni
Too bad D'Antoni didn't teach defense. He would have at least 2 rings by now
Kobe was just a bad man this man has so many highlights
RIP Brother😭😭 rip black mamba
Man i miss these days..
8:07 the small teams in this league will never be the best defensive teams... 2017 golden state warriors making van gundy look like a fool 10 years in the future
but zaza steps on leonards right foot.its the a good defense also.
That footwork at 9:03 is on another level
This was Bynums coming out party ..his confidence soared after this game
Kobe was so all around I'd pick him today or any day to build a team around
MISS U IDOL CAPTAIN 1 KOBE BRYANT
I’ve always wondered who screamed at 7:05. Was it Kobe or someone else lol
#MAMBA
Kobe miss u bro :'(
RIP KOBE 😭
Rip Kobe
Man that move at 3:57 is just nasty footwork
Freakin thing of beauty, an artform.
raja didnt know where he was going
I want to say that The Lakers swept the season series from Phoenix. The second meeting in Phoenix was when Kobe was coming through the arena saying he wasn’t going in to the fight with butter knives anymore. He now had machine guns.
Man Ariza was a great fit for the lakers! They should’ve kept him instead of signing artest
😭 idol.
miss you kobe!
Kobe was a magician. Anywhere anyhow on the court.
kobe...so miss
Kobe made the Players around him better.
Miss bean man 💛💜
8:06 i didnt know kobe had a twin who played for the suns
Dion Šušulić Hahaha!! Brian Skinner!
Does not look like him at all lol
I freaking broke my back laughing at this comment and his twin's confused looking face.
3:56 illest shot you’ll ever see I swear !!!
My man mamba for life 8-24
Bruh it goes to show you NBA is just highway robbery when it comes to MVP cuz the year Kobe did win he wasn't supposed to win and the years he was supposed to win he didn't win MVP don't mean shit
AnEn MJ won mvp in a season where his team was under 500 forgot what year maybe 89
Miss you Mamba
RIP Mamba
🙏🏾💜💛
Ridiculous level of footwork and shot-making. Absolutely ridiculous.
after watching 9:00 kobes fadeawayi wonder how mike d antoni thinks about hardens step back now
It looks like a travel but its the same legal move. Harden just does it off the dribble.
@@xDreMack no he travels more times than not AI even says that he does
@@Kommunik8Moor who? Harden or Kobe cause at this timestamp it's not a travel. Harden doesn't travel more often than not it's just when he doesn't do the move correctly. It's the 1 or 2 times he travels every 5 or so games other than those times the move is almost impossible to guard.
He'll be doing this the rest of his career so idk what to tell you bro.
this guy was playing vs the mighty suns
8:50 Kobe might have traveled there... still a beautiful shot though and it wasn't that obvious.
It looks like one at first but he doesn't. He pivots, dribbles and then pivots again off the other foot. It's crazy how skilled Kobe was in his prime.
After he dribbled he re-established his pivot foot
Well Kobe slipped before the dribble so technically that’s a travel. It’s still a beautiful move tho.
merrychristmas
@ 7:05 My goodness!
If Ariza and Bynum hadn't gotten hurt + the Gasol trade, the Lakers would've beaten the Celtics in the Finals that year.
"Hey bitch"😭
Kobes last year being in his prime. Kinda like gennady golovkin in 2015
Kobe called him stevie 🙃
..still #KB24EVER
I’m not sure which kobe I like #8 or #24 that’s a good problem, to have
ppl didnt expect us to make it this year then we got gasol !!
Yeah but we were already good...I'm more made we later got nash and dantoni
/(NBA)/ /(espn)/ COMING UP AT 8ET ON ESPN/ Seattle vs Portland/
Al live
Wheres kwame?
George Lopez wasn’t playing he really loved him for what he brings to the game of basketball 🏀 #PassionateLikeNoOther #Mamba 💪🏾💯
Raja bell was scared that nite
Kobe shot 45% but those makes were more damaging than a lot of guys 50%. Not all points are equal
Not gonna lie was this before we got Gasol, or did I hear the commentators say he was hurt??
This was before The Gasol trade.
Your stats are false.
/NBA CHRISTMAS SPEICAL/ (NBA) PHOENIX 112 (espn) LA LAKERS 115 (balls) /FINAL/
