EDIT: I made a mistake with the pangram. The S was mission. It should be JUMPS not JUMPED. The quick red fox jumpS over the lazy brown dog.
Hello Luke. I think that the English language is not only Germanic excepted at the beginning. Thanks a bunch for the quiz! Merry Christmas!
Usually I'm doing something while I listen to your podcast, Luke. But this time, I even set aside all my deeds in order to watch it. It is so fascinating.
Another very good podcast with the three of you. Very entertaining and I enjoyed every minute to the end. Thanks as always, Luke. Always be careful when sitting down on a stool. Hopefully you can fix it. 😊
thanks Luke, again a great second episode The novel without the "e" letter was "La disparition" from George Perec - Cheers
I liked a lot this episode 😊 very interesting 🎉🎉
Thanks for another great episode! It was super funny and entertaining listening to the three of you together! 😊 I love how varied your content is, Luke! And how uplifting each episode is! I'm always in a better mood after listening to you 🌟 THANKS!!
Not only I knew there were other languages spoken in the United Kingdom, but the first one I thought when you asked the question was indeed Cornish!😂 Nice podcast, I'm using it to improve my English, thank you very much!
Glad to hear you as well, our great teacher!❤
Hi Luke! Great episode. And you're right, in that sentence "tomorrow" is a noun. To-morrow, and to-morrow, and to-morrow, Creeps in this petty pace from day to day... Tomorrow is the subject of the sentence
Tomorrow is monday (noun) See you tomorrow (adverb)
I think you're right. Although the word "tomorrow" has two functions, name and adverb, In this case, the function of "tomorrow is a noun and not an adverb.
These were blinding episodes! I enjoyed them a lot. Thanks a lot! Although I wouldn´t dare to take part in any Trivia quiz, it was very engaging to hear about them and see how they work. Plenty of fun!
Thank you very much guys for the episode. It was joyful and interesting. Luke, you played the quiz like a proper expert. The Lepland is proud of you. My favorite part is when you were reciting the Macbeth soliloquy. It was done greatly. Poetry always gives that genuine beauty of a language. Merry Christmas, See you in the podcastle, mate.
LEP is meant to die for. Do go on!
Awesome 🎉, thank You for the vlog.
Thanks ❤
Thank you, Luke!!
Thanks Luke
Very interesting episodes. We acquire a lot of language.
Awesome presentation... Thanks a lot from Bangladesh 🇧🇩🇧🇩
👏
Why am I falling in love with Sarah
The quick red fox jumped over the lazy brown dog.
I got it wrong, it’s JUMPS not jumped
Is it just me or Luke's Quiz only had 5 questions? You can see that there is no question number 5. It seems it was skipped, and now I am curious what it was. Or it's supposed to be only 5 questions because there was not a final question that summed up all the previous answers 1:58 (Luke says about 6 questions) Anyway, thanks for the episode! It was nice to watch it
Hi luke and thank you for your podcasts. It have been a long time since amber and paul appeared on the podcast ate you planning to record a podcast with them ?
Hi, I recorded an episode with them recently and it will be published in a few weeks 👍
My quiz question:) How did the speech delivered on January 8, 1918 in Congress by the 28th President of the United States, Thomas Woodrow Wilson, change the history of Poland?
Some of my initial versions were somewhat close to my answer, but to be honest, I had to look up for some clues, so no point for me😁. Wilson’s 14 Points contributed to the peace negotiations for the end of World War I and subsequently to the revival of the Independent Polish state. Did I get it right🤔
@@NicaVero_ Great👍

great language game. only thing is the questions should be adjusted to the learners culture and background. these examples are difficult for students who have little knowledge of Western pop culture

Hi Luke, here's my question: which joke has a 96% chance of being mentioned when Luke’s Podcast is joined by Amber&Paul (I know, the answer is so HARD to guess, right?)
The paracetamol joke? The lion king joke? 🤷♂️
the rush iannnnn😋@@LukesEnglishPodcast
definitely not the Russian joke
I haven't been to England. You are very beautiful)
I can't see the letter S in that pangram. Isn't it JUMPS?
Yes
@LukesEnglishPodcast sorry, human nature to see mistakes. I apologise. Lovely podcast.
