    • Exactly! This was my husband and I also. I was married 2xs and divorced twice by the age of 24. It was devastating to say the least. My 1st was riddled with DV and SA. I left quick due to our 2 year old. I married again and got pregnant. I found out when our son was 10 months old he had been cheating on me for over a year and he ended up leaving me for her. So here I was 24 and a single mother for the 2nd time with now a 6 year old and a 10 month old. He was married once and she had cheated on with my word like 6-7 guys. I mean his son’s baseball coach, his other son’s gymnasts coach. It’s was so crazy. We met when I was 27 and married just 2 months later. I know crazy insane. We just absolutely both knew. We laid it ALL on the table prior to our first date even. Then again we both had 2 sons so getting free time to date was limited. We’ve now been married 18 years and our 4 sons are adults and the most amazing kids. I swear we are so dang blessed. 🥹 🥰

  • We lose 22 military members PER DAY to ‘self exit’. My retired veteran husband is involved in a few social media groups to help bring awareness and help for soldiers, past and present. He has stayed on the phone for hours talking service members down. The fight is real to save our soldiers, to remind them that it’s just a bad day, not a bad life. Love you guys and your choice of guests, I love watching you young couples starting out. It brings back such warm memories. This one has been my favorite. A short 35 yrs ago I was the single mother to a baby boy that met a handsome soldier far from home. It took 4 months and the patience of a prince to break down the walls. We married 2 years later and proceeded to have 3 more babies, in rapid succession. We are still learning new things about each other, enjoying being grandparents, and our lazy days alone.

    @saltymilspouse@saltymilspouse3 ай бұрын
    • Oh my god, it's so heartbreaking for those soldiers after everything they did 😢

      @kaykhairunnisa6644@kaykhairunnisa664425 күн бұрын
    • It's pain, trauma those soldiers carry. It has to be released, make space for healing to come in. No one can heal until they let go. Forgive whomever, even self if necessary to be able to release it all. The way to gain control, rebalance self, is by just letting go. For some reason we all tend to cling to and carry pain, but it is a choice, as we do not have to. Any need to manipulate or control, being difficult or stubborn is deeply rooted in fear. What one tells their mind is everything. The mind believes what you tell it. We need to start telling it only the best things, speak it out loud, telling selves even the impossible to achieve it. We attract what we emit All things are energy, and vibration. The highest vibe available to all, is love. That includes self love, care and knowing own worth - that is our own inner strength. It is imperative to see our own self worth. No one can do it for us. Once had, retained, we will soar. ❤🙏💫💥🌱🌎

U feel like you’re not contributing financially but you’re actually contributing so much more to your family than if u had a boss. Working your own schedule allows you to be more present and care for the people u love when your body won’t follow someone else’s schedule to get a pay check. It took me several years to stop feeling guilty for not earning when the entire time my husband told me to stop working and just take care of us like I already was. I finally feel like my contribution is not just enough but important. Thank God for good men ❤

  • Hubby and I have been married for 34 years come Otober 6. His mom passed in 2014 and left him some money. We spent about $8,000 on a 10 day, all-inclusive trip to St. Lucia. It was AMAZING! We never had an actual honeymoon. We were 19 and 20, and I was 3 mos pregnant. Life went from 60 to 💯. We were mostly comfortable financially but had to utilize some state aid programs such as WIC and medicaid for the kids. Our daughter passed away on April 14, 2015. Unfortunately, she lost her battle with mental health. She fought hard, though. Our son is now married with 2 kiddos. 💙 When we went on the trip, we had so much pushback and judgemental comments about our choice in spending that much $ on a vacay. Us? We couldn't be happier. It was almost surely a once in a lifetime trip as my health has declined significantly since then. We are seriously nothing but thankful we went. Like I said, 34 years on October 6th. When we said, "I do" at our $150 backyard wedding. ❤

    • I teared up reading this, but in the best way! I am so happy for y’all, for y’all choosing to do this for yourselves. I’ve always heard at some point you have to invest in yourself, I also believe that to be true for a marriage. You have to invest something, love, time, energy, so why not invest in a trip as well. Reading this I feel like you both made some incredible memories while on your trip, it’s something you can tell your sweet little grandbabies about💗🥹! I’m so sorry you lost your daughter, my heart broke for you reading that. I hope she gave you some kind of sign when you were on your trip, maybe a special sunset, just a little something to ease your heart. Thank you for sharing this, it warmed my heart during a time of sadness for me. Much love and I pray your health gets better. 🙏🏼

    • @JessicaWalkerGeorgia Thank you. 🙏 We absolutely made once in a lifetime memories. If I could go back in time, there are so many things I'd change. This trip is not one of them. In fact, one of my changes would be traveling the world before having kids. Travel while we were young and healthy. We could have utilized hostels and such. Travel is always my answer when people ask if I would change anything. Lacey was still here when we went on that trip. The trip was the end of Dec 2014- the beginning of Jan 2015. She passed in May. But I believe I get messages from her now and then. I sure miss her. She was my mini. 🥰
