  • I can relate to Sabrina so much. My dad won't let me wear a crop top without something under it and I look at other girls who are thinner than me and I am just so much aware of what people think of me and I grew so insecure of my body and I would scroll through social media and see people who would look so much better than me and I would think to myself I wish I was them and would not focus on what was in front of me. But now I'm focusing on what's in front of me and feeling my best in whatever I'm wearing.

  • Every father feels like this. I did when my daughter went through this age. It's not that we (dads) are trying to be overbearing, or demanding or overly strick. When you younger guys get older, have kids especially a girl. She's forever your "little girl". It's deep within men twords their daughter. We just want to protect them from the bad in the world. It's very difficult to navigate. Is it overbearing and controlling? Yes, but in the father's heart, she will always be his little girl, his baby. I'm not trying to justify it, it's just the way it is. When / if you have a daughter you will understand, and more than likely do the exact same things.

Because I always thought I was the only one not aloud to dress and wear revealing clothes but reading other comments and seeing that people go through the same thing it makes me feel so much better about myself!! Also I'm going to 7th grade but during my 6th and 5th grade year I felt as if I had to dress like everyone else because that's what everyone dressed like and now seeing all these videos and how everyone is just themselves I feel better and feel as if I can dress and Be myself without worrying about what other people think!!
