He is trying to live his life through his daughter, how sad.
I comment on certain videos and make some content
I admire the Mom who won't give up on her daughter who's in a coma. Additionally, when someone's in a coma, it doesn't mean that the person doesn't hear you. It's also inspiring to see that the daughter is a fighter. I can see that the daughter and the Mom will be getting their breakthrough miracle for healing.
It would be worse if they can hear you because that means they are conscious and they can spend years just Seeing darkness and being paralysed Its worse than if they just werent conscious at all and just woke up.
i feel like most parents will stay by their children's sides even when they're in a coma
Hey how is this a true story if it was the 2028 Olympic thats still 6 years away!
@@petermavrakis8953 I had a family member who was in a coma, he said he could hear everything and even repeated conversations he shouldnt have been able to understand. He just couldnt see, move, or do anything :( he said it was absolute torture
@@astxrix1276 dam. Thats real torture.
This Dad has exhibited narcissistic behavior. In his eyes, his Daughter is just an extension of himself, meaning, whatever was happening to her, it really was about all the “sacrifices” he made. With a narcissist, you aren’t privy to your feelings, it’s about how it affects them. When the daughter’s health declined and the insurance issues arises, he was willing to do what’s necessary for him…so, when the daughter no longer served “his” purpose, he abandoned(discarded) the family. Unfortunately so many people are dealing with narcissism today…they’re being discarded because they no longer serves the narcissist, however, the story ended beautifully.☮️
Exactly! For all we know, their lifestyle was probably pretty good. Even though he had a middle class job that didn't pay a fortune, (like how he described), he likely still made a decent living. I feel like the dad was just money hungry and eager to have a rich lifestyle, and his daughter was the ticket for that.
yeah exactly...he sounded 100% like a narcissist. They are incapable of really loving us. They only see people as objects and their love is base on what they can provide for us. Even at the very end, instead of being happy that his daughter is alive, he was happy that she's back into training and even had the nerve to ask for MONEY. Yes..definately a narcissist.
@@amylee8969 yes, and how mean that is for a father!
he was right with the training. there's one soccer/football player heung min son. he said he wanted to be a pro as a kid. his dad (pro) knew how much it took so he made his son do extreme work. now? heung min son scored most goals in the best league in the world this season. but his decisions after they learned about the disease was screwed

The fact that this happens in real life, is just sad. People are forced to push and be perfect. I had a friend who went to California for Championships. @@amylee8969 I know right! I can take a lot of negativity but this is beyond my level of resistance to negativity.
@Sokhna Sane exactly!
I am proud of this mom for not giving up on her daughter. That’s what parents should always do. They should never give up on their kids and try to help them get better with their lives. If I fell into a coma, my mom and dad would never give up on me until I recovered.
And I also have to admit that I was an idiot for thinking the dad was right when he thought Isabelle wouldn’t respond.
@@seanrogers9129 I mean I can still see where the dad was coming from, when money is tight it’s not going to be all la la land. That just isn’t life, sometimes alternatives are the only way. It’s dark and grim but it’s the truth, yes parents should never give up on their child but if it gets to far, sometimes things get tight and administering that one sad drug is the sad and dark option
Sometimes it's not about not giving up, or simply the length of life. Sometimes it boils down to supporting the quality of life. There's a reason that "persistent vegetative state" has become a well known phrase. Making such a decision for someone you love, be it your child, your parent, your sibling, your spouse, or just a dear friend, is one of the most difficult decisions a person can make. Trying to figure out whether you're basing your decision on what you feel emotionally, vs what is best for your loved one, is practically impossible. I've been placed in this position twice in my lifetime, and wouldn't wish it upon anyone. I don't regret putting the needs, and wants of my family members first. But it doesn't make the actual decision easy to follow through on. I never had to wait 2 years to make the decision. I can't even imagine.
yep

Moral of the story: Never push someone to their limits even when they don't want to, you let them rest when they need it. Also don't push yourself, let your body have the time to rest
I agree. I can understand losing hope after 2 years in a coma. The biggest problem is the dad cared more about the Olympics than his daughter's health. He cared about being rich and having money.
her dad:hon lets pull plug mom:NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO her 2 sec later firm her 2 weeks later questioning her choice
haah...father was not pushing her, he was after "her money" and he was a cowrad and mean to make money like this! He was not "a father", but was a selfish man trying to get easy money on hard, harsh treatment to his own daughter. A naive girl was blackmailed emotionally and she truly believed in her father, she did not know at that time who he really was! Well, at least she got a clear picture at the end and given him a proper slap!
My sister had something like that
My parents always pushes me to be the best:(
This one angered me so much cuz there are parents who are actually like the dad. The child could be fighting for their life and the parents are more concerned with irrelevant things than the health of their own child. My heart goes out to anyone who has had any similar experiences to this video
"Live your life?!" SHE'S YOUR DAUGHTER SHE'S YOUR LIFE, SHE'S MORE THAN YOUR LIFE 😠
Good for the daughter finally standing up to her dad. There is a big difference between being there as a supportive parent and being a “coach” who is only there for what it can do for himself.

Exactly!!!! No sporting club will ever certify a loser like her dad to become a coach. He demands "CONTROL". He should be charged with neglect. He was the one who left her family. I wanted a climax where the ex-wife handing her ex a lawsuit for punitive damages, child support, and a restraining order not to approach her and banned him from taking assets from her daughter's account.

This is such a heart touching story, here is mine... When I was 10 years old, my knees started to give way when I walked. My parents were extremely worried, we went to about 15 doctors in a week, specialists and everything. My dad made me do exercises, physio, he took me out for walks, my mum used to spend her entire day helping me and calling everyone she knew. Things started getting worse, my left leg would start shaking, trembling, vibrating violently, my mum used to tell me "fight it, tell your leg not to shake, fight it". I tried, i tried to fight. But things were really starting to go downhill. Soon, my vision started to go blank, i don't know how to describe it, all I could see was white. It was temporary though, after a few seconds it would go away. We ended up going to hospital, stayed there many days for tests and everything. We went to the emergency department not knowing what was happening to me. My parents sat by my bed, my brother wasn't allowed to come and visit, i went to the neurologist who eventually diagnosed me with a functional neurological disorder (fnd). I was shocked. It is a condition that I will always have, it is part of me, everyday I get signs and symptoms of relapse, but I fight. I live my best life on the things that matter, even today, I get heart shocks, my leg shakes, my knee gives way, my vision goes out. But I don't let that stop me. My heart goes out to anyone struggling with any disorder or illness in their life. "Your illness does not define you. Your courage and strength does"
