This is The Most Satisfying full build episode of Jagdpanzer E-60 from Modelcollect in 1/35 scale you'll ever see. You can find here how I created a monster in 5 days from beginning to the end. This unusual German What-if paper panzer is built with huge amount of aftermarkets and scratchbuilt details.
I show how to use World of tanks as the inspiration and paint the camo with 6 colors based on this game
You can find here also how to make dry mud, general dustiness, additional stuff and figures.
How to paint chips and rust, how to make a metallic look, how to paint the towing cables, how to paint the exhausts, how to make mud and some other tricks!

  • I use an old trick when masking using tape and an airbrush. Before painting the color, spray a thin coat of clear around the edges of the mask and give it about 10 - 15 minutes and then paint your color. Of course, the clear and the color paint have to be compatible 🤓 The clear acts to "seal" the edges of the mask, and keeps paint bleeding down tremendously! I love your channel and plan to use a lot of things from this video on my 1/16 Resin Hetzer I have had in my stash for years!

    • Yeah, there is something where we can flow with our ideas. This camo fits only for paper panzer and for vehicle like this one. Smbd said for me that this is important to paint it in the factory - well he doeasnt feel the subject at all... So, this is What if tank so all tricks are posiible! :)::):)

  • Wonderful rendition of a "what-if" subject! Your interpretation And techniques show, not only your skill and experience, but also your accurate interpretation of visual wear and stain patterns. Very convincing! I'm also from the "less is more" school. One possible issue: by this time in the war, German shortages of critical strategic metals (e.g., copper) were so acute that brass was long unused for cartridge and shell case manufacture. Steel was used, which was painted a gray-green, and lacquered. May we assume some artistic license, since such painted empty cases would not show up as well on the tank surfaces as brass casings would show?

  • That camo scheme is really cool, it doesn't look nearly as good in the game as it does on the model. Sorry to say but nothing sucked... Cheers!

  • Superb job. Not a fan of the Camouflage scheme as it hides the lines of the the interesting kit ( lol as it’s supposed to do) But that is not a criticism of this fantastic build, and great video. Thanks mate.
