Flying into Oklahoma City, there was heavy turbulence as we made our approach. Just as we were about to land a giant lightning bolt struck the ground in view of the plane.
"Welcome to Oklahoma City," always love to hear that.
👏 for the pilot
I flew into St. Louis where there was a bad storm and we were unable to land. About 12 planes including the one I was in were put into a flight holding pattern around the airport until the air to ground activity ceased. The plan shook, trembled, the lights went on and off, you could hear the wind and the hard rain hitting the plane and it kept hitting air pockets where it would drop a bit suddenly and then straighten back out. It was the scariest flight I'd been on and never felt good flying again when its stormy lol.
Nice
Plane i was on landed on one wheel and the wing touch the runway bounced then we landed. St louis strong crosswind hit us right as we were touching down and the pilot wasnt ready for that
Awesome man I'm glad you made it there.
Very cool Thanks for sharing.
👍👍
That's intense looking. Scary.
Absoluyely AMAZIMG!!!😮😮😮😮😮😮
Scary..my Mom and I took a trip to and from OKC last March and thank God the weather was good
That was cool, thanks for sharing.
what time was it?
Those winds at the altitude they were flying at, were just over 100mph
Good thing the plane moves at like 300mph at that time. A small plane would get turned upside down in those clouds. Though at cruising altitude wind speeds greater than 300mph are not uncommon.
Would have been better if 40% of the screen wasn't covered in watermarks.
nope
Turbulence was not too bad. Great landing. Love seeing the lightning!
