I'm guilty of all 5!!😬. Excellent advice and I'm slowly seeing progress from your training video on BJJ Fanatics.

Amazing video, very useful to point how to proceed. Thank you.
Great!!! I've bought your instructional on BJJ Fanatics (this is awesome stuff with great details) and this video is complementary to your dvd on Butterfly guard. Thanks a lot
Great details Adam, thank you for this. You have inspired me to start playing this lovely guard. Have you seen BJJ Scout's analysis of your game?? Amazing
Thank you Adam! Dziękuje bardzo
Thanks you so much I just finished week 2 of learning the butterfly guard but I could not sweep anyone and kept getting side smashed and I kept putting my head to the wrong side and I was not using my bottom foot as a push it was just laying there. Also I kept applying the knee Sheild because I thought they where going to pass instead of putting it on the outside. Also I key falling down to my back instead of my side on my shoulder. Also I was doing the grips wrong. Also I kept trying to force the sweep with the same grip instead of switching sides or switching grips. Anything you can think of with the aspect trying to sweep the guy I was doing wrong. The only thing I was doing right was getting to the position but I just could not finish it. Thank you so much for this video this will definitely help me with week 3 of using the butterfly guard So I can get it ready for competition use and fully add it to my game. I think after seeing this and then I am going to practice it for week three it will be ready for me using during Houston open after week 3. Thank you so much again

Great! Thanks.
That explains why my butterfly guard still sucks after 1 year playing it in sparring. Knee and head position are lazy. Thank you very much, Adam! I'd love to have you for a seminar here in Leipzig - Germany some day.
Super helpful
this video should never be disliked
Awesome!
This channel should grow very fast. Keep up the great work. Also, we appreciate this valuable inatruction !!!
Hi adam, is there a way to establish Better control in no gi butterfly 🦋 guard when u don’t have the belt to grip? Aside from the over hook and whizzer controls you went over in the no gi DVD?
I become addicted to butterfly guard :D
Awesome video, and I love the belt grips!!! On a side note, do you ever sometimes for a belt grip use a “Georgian grip” while in the butterfly guard? Just curious. Thank you!
Yes, of course! i use that grip a lot
ty im here again!
wow!!!!!!!! awesome channnel!
Awesome
Teraz juz wiem 😉
Thank you Adam, the wrong side of head is my biggest mistake when i set up butterfly guard
kzhead.info/sun/m5Skh6hwpqutm6c/bejne.html His Head is actually always cross side, otherwise the opponent could post the head on the mat for base, and jump cross side..check it yourself 🧐
I feel like Marcelo Garcia has a very flat back approach to his butterfly guard though. It seems like he only turn to his side during the elevation. He also has this pull and push system which kind of allows him to lie on his back flat? Any thoughts on this?
would like to hear about this as well!
You can go flat if you want to attack an arm inmediately but I feel to the side is better for health.
@@nicocontreras5366 How is it better for health? Do you have some peer reviewed scientifc studies showing lying on your side prevents cancer or improve lifespan by 83% or something? 😂
@@Darren_Tay Better for back health. At least that I have read.
Is that asbestos floating in the air?
Osssssss !
1👍👍👍👍👍
Who are this 4 people who disliked this video? 😂
Butterfly guard enemies I guess 😂
