It’s what I hate most about BJJ... having a person hanging off you and not being able to counter for fear of unsafe return to the may. Hill used superior strength and stood with him. I feel that if the clinger can’t keep you from standing and he not taking the back and used that technique to stall your attack...then a score should go to The standing player...if he drops off before the ref call a stalemate then it should be a gaurd pass and you get two points. I despise this part of BJJ. Many elite level grapplers from other disciplines like judo, catch, sambo are unable to thrive in”grappling” tournaments due to the large BJJ formulated rules.
