Deion Sanders speaks with the media after beating TCU 45-42.
Deion Sanders' Colorado Buffaloes beat TCU in a 45-42 thriller at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth on Saturday, giving Sanders a win in his first game coaching at the Football Bowl Subdivision level.
HIGHLIGHTS: • TCU-Colorado highlight...
Colorado (1-0) held TCU (0-1) on a 4th down and 9 with just under one minute left, and then ran out the clock to shock the Horned Frogs, who were coming off their best season in program history.
Sanders' son, Shedeur Sanders, starred at quarterback for Colorado, throwing for 510 yards on 38-of-47 passing and four touchdowns.
"I'm proud of him," Deion Sanders said of his son's performance, "tremendously."

He didn't tell him not to go there, but he made sure to have as little influence on his son's decision where to play as possible. Seems like a great dad in addition to being a quality coach.
