It's all about the person, some people can't get a hold of a box cutter without using it as a weapon and some can sleep with a loaded gun on their nightstand every night and its nothing more than a tool that is there as part of their personal security system.

      @akjustice@akjustice Жыл бұрын
    • @@siphen6767 Video games don't have real people in it. These rappers are talking about real people and real cities and some of have done real crime. 95% of listeners don't get effected by this at all of course but it doesn't take much to escalate shit. Young kids in bad neighborhood getting into that age where they want respect and claim a place in the hirarchy have had these big fellas dangling their balls around and talking about THEIR society. It's not like a video game. Of course someone whose 25 and has a job is not going to throw everything away for some beef. But if you have some kids that don't have anything but a name and these folks show them how to be a man I think that definitely has an effect. This all starts at a young age. I have seen many kids writing comments on how they know the problems but living in the hood they look at the movies and music videos and those people are their heroes living in their world while they can't relate to some other things. I also love hip hop and I think that it doesn't work without having some edge to it. Eazy is a smart guy obviously and some kid gang banging at 17 probably not that much but still it's real and it can effect so many people. I'm going to keep listening and so is everybody else but it still sucks to think about it.

    • oussama bendakir idk man i appreciate beats now as well, i like tons of different forms of music so maybe thats why but i like the ethereal and more experimental beats of today. but the use of samples combo’d with original sounds back then was a form of musical genius.
