What strikes me most about this interview is how Pac speaks with so much integrity. He does not fall for conjecture or gossip. He speaks his own mind and does not waste time dwelling on people may or may not have done or what they may or may not have said. It is no wonder he got so much done in such a tragically short life. He is one of the few people where it is actually true that he did more in his short life than many people’s lifetimes.

She was very condescending and judging - she comes across like a person who's never had to struggle in her life as well as lacking the fundamental ability to be empathetic. When she made that snide remark about him smoking all his drugs he was selling when he told her he was a bad drug dealer said so much about her as a person. Her smirk when she said that too!? Ugh what a privileged, judging bitch - she has disgusting character.
Yeah, she was very presumptuous in several cases, even when it came to Pac's mother. I guess times were different back then, this was 26 years ago, and Pac was fighting what that lady represented, the prejudice and judgement coming from the people. And he recognised that the most efficient way of achieving victory is to deflect her arguably quite provocative questions with his calm, charming demeanor, making her look like even greater of an asshole and shifting the public opinion. He knew what he was doing, well played, sir O7
I don't think she did it to be rude or condescending. It's just a sign of someone who did not understand the other side of the tracks. Remember- this was the 90s. When mainstream america was being exposed more to non-mainstream cultures, lifestyles and points of view. Especially views from black youth It sounds cringy NOW but take the context of the time frame.
@@smartinez281 yo agreed, first of all the "smokin your own drugs" comment was made because she thought he was talkin bout sellin bud; not crack. She was tryna be cute, not a asshole. As for the other comments that come across as condescending etc, she was just fixated on this "artist with the childhood trauma and hardship" narrative bullshit that sold magazines back then. The media eats that shit up, then and now. Also: I think she prolly smitten, and got some preconceived idea of who the man was based on what she thought she knew about his background. Maybe I'm not explaining the concept well enough. I don't know about nowadays, but back when that motif was super popular among teenage suburban females, trust me; it got me good deal of puss in HS.

Lord Frieza Christ he died bc he was a threat to white supremacy. He was a leader and advocate for change and freedom for the black community. he was so humble....this seemed to be his actual personality.... legendary musician

Free Thinker Loyalty, not ego. Suge bailed him out when all his homies were turnin on him. Anybody had problems with Suge, best believe Pac was rollin. If you’re gonna talk, make sure you know what you talkin bout, fuckin marc
@Free Thinker I think Suge and his Pyru buds were definitely bad influences on him. Can't blame him for hooking up with Death Row considering how big they were and how Suge bailed him out. But I think they definitely pushed him to act more bold, thuggish, and confrontational. Suge wanted a thuggish star to make headlines and 2pac wanted to impress the gang members that were always hanging around.
Pac was never just 1 thing or just one way.
@@grinchoi1 Couldn't agree more
He has more vocabulary in his library than most people today.
‘I think i will be a very very good father, because i lovee kids, i love the innocent. It jus does something to my chest’💕💕
I love the way he handle her and didn’t lose his cool.
Thats why i respect him. She's coming at an angle of pure slander, trying her hardest to dehumanize him and make him look bad, but not once did he blow his cool and he treated her with respect regardless of her nonchalantly disrespectful disposition. Much love for Pac !
That was the norm back then

She's just ditsy
Notice how he doesn’t have a wierd haircut, overly large chain, and actually has social skills! And still keeps it gangsta!! Rappers these days ain’t even half of what he is!
That's because he's not a gangsta. He's an educated artist and a smart business man.

Nah Pac was heavy on that jewelry wave too. It was worst in the early ‘90’s around the time he did Juice and Above the Rim he was wearing like 7 chains and rings on every finger.
y'all gotta remember the generation before them was saying that PAC and all the other rappers of that time period was not doing real music! its the same thing older people do to kids these days with their music! give the youngsters space and grace to grow! RIP to Pac THE BEST
I was just here for the first time. I can't believe it was where 2pac was, such a legend.
Little did she know that 30 years later that this interview would be iconic with a RAP LEGEND. ❤ Also thank you to whomever his dad is, because AFENI and him blessed us with an amazing artist, lyricist, poet, and musician.
It was like she was trying her best to make him angry .......the king kept his cool.....LEGEND
They were friends btw fk knows how you came to that conclusion
She’s asking real tough questions. He’s so socially smart he knows how to play their game. Learn from him!!!!!
I noticed that too.

You just hating for no reason other than she had white bring up. Never once did she offend. Maybe you would rather hear her ask stupid questions or some ish.
I love how he doesn't knock his mom and calls her his hero.
This was Big To Me At The Time in The 90's Kid Watching Interview of Tupac Venice Beach and Being American w a Tough Prideful Jamaican Mom, Felt I Was Relating and Felt More Appreciative Towards Her Protective Roughness For Raising Me N My Siblings in California Alone Like That! Timeless Appreciative of Black Women in a Deeper Understanding! 💯✊🏾💯
Of course she was the head of the black Panthers... Duh... She was a queen

Humble. He was Love and Light.
As he should.
I knew this man was great. But watching him just shows how wonderful of a person he was. We truly lost a hero. Those centers for the kids. Was a great idea. He really would’ve changed life for us all. One ate at a time. He was ahead of his time, wise, caring, serious, and amazing. His voice was of an angel. Truly sad that we lost him.
It's sad to hear about Pac thinking about having kids when he never got to...
Baby Jay and what’s even crazier too is there are so many Pac lookalikes
Baby Jay yep..
He would’ve but he was so busy he didn’t want to have kids and leave them and be an absentee
He has a son he hide him.
LeaveMiiAlone for real especially in that interview when he said he’ll always be friends with jada and they’ll grow old together that brought tears to my eyes 😭
Tupac was so real& so respectful to women and everyone his personality shines thru in this interview he would of been a good dad and the best husband! ❤
This was such a quality interview! I grew up being a big fan of Tupac. His music and story helped motivate me as a teenager and helped me grow into a man. Nothing but respect for him.
Kind of weird not seeing so many people on the boardwalk like it is today. I also like the fact there's no smart phones being shoved all around him and everybody is just minding their business giving him space like he was one of them. Totally different world...lol.
this was shot early mañana. then end now it was a busy spot
23 yrs later he would've been swamped with cellphones
Back then people had respect for 2pac they knew what he was about..he had more street love then most today..only dude I know who still can walk like that is Master P
The Real Charlie O You can see security a bit on the side lol... I was wondering the same thing at 1st
Probably the time of day
“I think I’ll be a great father I love kids” so sad you had to leave at such a young age...
@Nick 420 The Genius already wrote the song Letter to my Unborn Child. Relate, the world is Fantasy!
This is one of his best interviews. He seems like such a good guy here. Bad circumstances turned him into who he became as a person with the wild antics, but he did know better.
Tupac was very brilliant, smart, handsome and outspoken. The world needed you more than you know. I know the hip hop & rap industry would be different if you were still alive. I wish I had the chance to meet him. Continue to rest in peace black king. I love you. 😘❤️🤞🏾
So did everyone just randomly get this in their recommended ?
Yeah babe
I'm not complaining
And I’m not disappointed

I love 2pac, I love THAT he answer all the questions. Some dudes just being rude and walk away. Miss that legend 👼
There was a purity about Tupac that really draws you in. His truth, his words, and the way he articulates his life/reality just really touch and captivate you. His interviews (still) have a powerful impact.
We lost Tupac at 25 almost 25 years ago and his name is still relevant till this day as long as we got KZhead or any type of music platform Tupac will live forever. He's truly the G.O.A.T. 🐐🎤

Shrek spoke up when nobody else dared....
He left his music, videos, and interviews to help us keep our head up, so we want be afraid to stand up for what is right.
Absolutely. Only started listening to his music this year and my mind is blown
Yep. What they should do with the help of Vlad tv,MTV, and other interviewers is something like a 7 part Netflix melodrama of all of the "Death Row" players and their stories acted out from the time that they came to Death Row,met Tupac,Suge,Snoop,Dre up until Tupac's demise, Snoop's split from the record company and how it all came tumbling down. There are some great stories out there. So many left penniless and without good careers.Danny Boy has the best stories,The late Frank Alexander and Reggie Wright. Too many interviews on "You Tube" that really need to be compiled.
He was an old man in a young dudes body compared to the dull guys we have now.
Razr sliQ Right..
He was still a kid, which is why he did stupid shit like run up on Orlando Anderson.
Yes you’re very dull
That's because he was raised in a generation of getting your ass beat when you acting out, being raised without a father in your life and a mom being there going through hell and doing her best but also living in a era where social media wasn't taking over your life. Like me I'm like him and it's being raised in that generation that makes you feel your an old person in a young person body. Well that's what I think
Right guys today dont compare
Awww Pac. I've been a fan forever but I learn more about you every day😢. Its 2023, but I still feel your loss ❤❤❤❤❤
He really Walked the earth damn i was seven when he died Heard His Music trough my Cousin and still Listening to PAC music
The interviewer was trying so hard to piss him off. He probably realized it and was like "nope I'ma out class you."
I dont think she tried pissing him of, she just seem really insensitive and ignorant about that life
