  • Derailing is an intended feature. In early versions, that actually happened, but then they increased the derail speed and decreased the minecart speed cap, so it doesn't happen under normal circumstances anymore

  • Hey Element, i think the problem is that the minecarts are being stopped from having aerial inertia due to air resistance sor something. Try coding that out, so that you dont slow down while youre flying in the minecart in the air!
