    • My bro in law was 22, and at wedding to my sister, there was several of his mates from Hereford. They were, as you say, calm, in control, disciplined types. My bro in law is same, hot heads (these idiots who want to fight the world) don't make good SF. They're not looking for that, people in control, capable of ultra violence when absolutely necessary.

  • Staz was up at Fleet Protection Group RM while I was a Marine there too. genuine good guy. I remember his repack box (basically a coffin sized cardboard box with which you ship all your kit between postings and billets) it had his name and P0 number, and below one of the lads had written ‘STAZ’S STEROIDS’ typical Corps humour.

  • Staz is a testament to our military. Particularly our elite special forces. Nothing compares to the British special forces anywhere in the world. The most enthralling podcast on your list Dodge and they are all excellent. “Just doing my job” he says. So humble. Even after experiencing the most dangerous missions of deployment and coming out the other side with the highest of medals available, you would walk past this guy in the street and not even realise. Keep up the good work Dodge

Staz is one of the most interesting and entertaining ones I have watched and listened to. A real character. And clearly very intelligent and skilled. Glad it was available on KZhead. His descriptions of events are fascinating, and the descriptions of people, very funny. I rarely laugh out loud at something like this. But Dodge did, and I joined him! it was truly excellent. And mind blowing to hear such a first hand account of life within 3 Commando Brigade and the SBS. I think my favourite phrase was “a human highlighter”. 😂 Respect to you both.
