After a morning of hunting, Tim Lewis noticed this exhausted doe being bred and chased by a young buck, he was so enraged with the need to breed he nearly killed the doe trying to make her stand up so that he could breed her. RESPONSIBLE HUNTERS will always be the greatest friend of conservation our wildlife have.

What was the outcome. Was she left there still lying down ? Couldn't she have been rescued? Did she live?
I once helped a duck who was being relentlessly chased by a couple of drakes. I stepped in between them and told the boys to shoo. They immediately ran away. The female stopped running away when I did that and looked at me, as though she was saying, "Did you do that for me?" After a moment, she calmly walked away, clearly happier now that she wasn't being chased. I know the drakes probably chased after her later, but I'm just glad I was able to give her a bit of a break, even for just a moment. XD
That is the most cutest....... applause to you my dear fwend 👏💜

@Henry The Pretzel They're endangered species. Biodiversity is important to the eco system, whether you like a given species or not. Predators are needed and they tend to be fairly savage. The point is nature is nature, and to them it's not sadistic, it's instinct. It's not about judging the ethics of animals, it's about people not being naive regarding the nature of animals.
@Henry The Pretzel I disagree. If predators weren't around or lessened to an alarming rate, the herbivores would multiply even more until they fill the grasslands and have nothing left to eat it becomes very out of balance
@Henry The Pretzel yes. Those who live in the country side and on developing countries are very much aware of this, both in their own lives and on nature itself. It's like both coexist with each other, acknowledging that both need to live. It's just a matter of who. Survival is the utmost priority, but also making sure that we can only take what we need.

People who are against hunting of animals have not seen vids like this. Way to aggressive and would to on to sire many more way to aggressive male offspring. Glad you found her the doe. I sure hope she made it.
I'm not trying to be a prick, but I'll sound like one. Those are antlers. A big difference is that Antlers will fall off and regrow annually while a horn is a permanent growth.
I thought the exact same thing every time I saw it- would have dropped that buck in a heartbeat. Poor doe.
@D M Bucks drop their antlers at the end of rutting season. Next season, they regrow. Year after year... The number of points on the antlers indicates the age. The more points, the older the buck...
@Melipowers_bit bucks that rut does into this state are cur from the same cloth as human males that rape women, they shouldn't be allowed to breed(and yes I think that a human rapist caught in the act should be shot and killed). As hunter I would kill this buck if in season because he has bad behavior that will hurt herd numbers in following years. There are plenty of good bucks that don't over breed the does, no need to let this one continue breeding.
@Melipowers_bit and just how would you do that? He already has a rifle and clearly knows how to use it, stfu basement dweller
Your a good guy Tim. TY for caring.
What a kind man to watch over her like that.
You can tell, when I man treats a wild animal this well, he is probably a great father and husband, but definitely a genuinely caring person. This is the respectful, one with nature mentality many don't see in hunters. This hunter (tried) saved a deer from a terrible but natural death I probably would have watched and not understood.
I've seen numerous videos of hunters reading deer stuck in fences.
A lot of us are really in tune with nature. At one with our surroundings. We respect the land that feeds us, and we love everything in it. Not all hunters are "trophy hunter" douchebags. In fact, most aren't. You just dont hear about the normal, good people. Nobody is gonna write an article about a father putting food on his family's table.
I honestly believe that hunters are more in tune & have more respect for deer than people that dont hunt. We respect them & are aware of how intelligent they are from trying to match wits with them, not to mention we pour millions of dollars every year (hunting licenses) that hopefully go into helping them & their habitat. We also help farmers out & harvest deer to eliminate car crashes. My two cents
Watching these types of videos have made me realise that not all hunters are filthy ones who hunt just for the thrill of it. I respect you genuine hunters ✊
Many hunters do respect animals, and want to keep them wild. It’s about conservation, and maintaining population. I grew up with hunting not just deer but birds, and even the very rare bear. My dad has his rituals before hunting as well as after harvesting the animal, he says a prayer of thanksgiving for the animal and creator so that we can be fed. I’m Indigenous, and we are taught this from a young age, the animal gave its life for us to live and forever we carry their spirit with us. It’s incredibly beautiful, not to mention eating wild game, I’ve found gives me less indigestion and upset than the usual beef, pork, or even chicken. Now hunting is not for everyone and that’s very true, and I respect everyone’s beliefs. I wanted to add this about the spiritual aspect that some may have not considered as part of my culture.
In most cases we say don’t interfere with animals and don’t touch them, but I think this is an exception. Just seeing how she reacted to you, she was thankful/comforted by your presence
Nah it depends on your role. If he was a journolaist or a visitor at a preserve he would have had no right to intervene. But as a casual bystander? Do as you like.
Hmmm I see it differently, if you help animals in the wild, then help them. Yeah you’re not supposed to and it could fuck up the ecosystem or whatever but if that’s what you want to do then so be it. If you do believe that nature is nature and humans shouldn’t interfere then you should never help or else your full of shit and a hypocrite. You can’t have a belief then change it whenever its convenient. I can’t be vegan but then be like “oh but I eat a steak every now and then when I crave it”. You helping that one animal while letting the others die when you could have helped them is fucked since you obviously don’t mind interfering.
@@chi7818 no, sometimes let nature take course. Theres a reason why parks tell people not to feed wild animals. What you dont want is wild animals that can kill humans associating humans with food. Nature is brutal but its life and suffering is life. Help when you can but know your place
@@lulufufu7139 yeah i don't agree with that. i share the belief of David Attenborough and many others that nature is nature and you shouldn't interfere. now if it was something directly caused by people like the deer was stuck in a net or something then yeah help since that isn't part of nature but just the things animals do to themselves should be left alone. David Attenborough filmed Life and explains why you should let nature take it's course. he uses an example of a leopard chasing a fawn. if you somehow chase the leopard away the fawn is disoriented and alone so it will probably die anyways. the leopard would just look for another fawn to kill but it used a large amount of energy so its own life or the life of its cubs are in danger now. in this video, the buck was clearly dangerous. by chasing it away it probably went and harassed another doe just like this one. or it fought with and killed/was killed by another buck ending in a worse situation.
This is interfering with nature though. But I ain't mad at it.
What a beautiful deed done. I wasn't concerned about the buck getting you I felt you knew exactly what you were doing. Bless your heart she would have died. Young Buck old doe. She desperately needed you. God bless you❤
“And all em jerk animal rights people say we don’t care....they’re stupid.” He gets it
well she is an animal too isnt she? the problem some people like hunters dont care if the animal is good or bad and just use it as an excuse
In his fatherly soothing voice. Gets me every time
Yes because humans should have the right to decide which animals should live free and which should be raised in factories and be gased to death...Its called cognitive desunance, when people say they care about animals, they only mean their pets and maybe some friendly wild animals, but cows and pigs that are just as inteligent and aware as a dog are worthless besides the few bucks you pay to have them on a plate.
@@jorgebalata2846 Myopic. When people say they care about animals, they mean all animals. Cows and chickens included. I believe animals are here for us to use. We should respect them because we need them. I would recommend the movie Temple Grandin to provide you with a little insight into a mindset like this.
@@bonjovi2792 And I would recommend you watch the game changers documentary on Netflix, your belief that animals are for humans to use does not change the fact we do not need to eat meat to live.
She relaxed when he was close and watching her and became more scared and alert when he went away. This is often how you can tell if an animal trusts you.
What an amazing man! Thank you for taking care of her.
Dude, this is just NATURE.. Its how BABIEZ are made
Thank you Sir ❤️ YOU'RE A BLESSING 🥰
The way she looked at you. You can tell she knew you were there to protect her. Animals are so amazing
She says as a deer causes the conflict in the story
@@tsubakishoujo They had already mated. The buck is in a rut and normally he'd mate a large group of doe till the rut was over. Instead he only had this doe for some reason, and tried to mate her to death. In the video the man states that she even has puncture wounds from the buck attacking her, probably why she was attempting to hide in the water.
How the FCUK do you know?.. Do you know what goes on in DEER CONSCIOUSNESS? Animals don't have the NEUROTICISM that humans do
🤡🤡🤡
Including the male buck, right?
Hopefully that doe lives her next life as a spotted hyena.
Just not as a female. The way those poor girls have to give birth is atrocious. 🥺
@@xassylax Actually the joke was a female hyena. They give birth painfully but, female hyenas have* to give consent to reproduce. It's physically impossible for a male hyena to mount a female without her permission.
@@goathead5073 yup, and they're also top in the pack pecking order. Good comment, not sure many people will understand though.
So proud of myself for understanding this joke when I scrolled past
Yeah I’ve seen how female hyenas are there really big and more dominant in the pack
Damn he was trying to get her to stand up for round 7😂
Thank you for helping this poor Doe. She has had enough and he’s still watching and I pray that she lives. ❤🙏
I can't imagine how calming your little head rub was to her. I bet she was very thankful you were around to help her, I know would be. Thank you for being so amazing, respect to you sir
She was probably scared and at the end she became more relaxed
She was definitely scared shitless and was confused
She was definitely scared. While he was petting her I was thinking, you know predators sometimes do similar things..they’ll find an animal like that and they will rub up against it, licking and sniffing and stuff like that, and eventually start taking bites. Because they know the animal is helpless, and they may not even be hungry at the time. But, they might decide 5 minutes later that they are.
@@16kings actually you would surprised how many animals actually calm down at the site of humans. Most of the time when in danger/close to death some animals even seek out human's help. We will never truly know how she felt. Although animals can sense things way better than humans.

Such a good man makes sure she ok and talks to her like he would his daughter

If that was his daughter that buck would be on the ground with 7 bullets in him

Poor doe. I love when hunters help out animal's, it just goes to show that they still care.

That's not his girlfriend!

The MOST horrifying thing! Thank you for stepping in good Sir
He's literally being a whole dad to this doe and that's straight up seriously like the manliest and most heart warming thing I've ever witnessed
@Jesus Gonzalez what are you talkin about. all he said was that animal rights people call Hunter's bad names when in reality Hunters are not evil.
@Jesus Gonzalez um no.. he was completely right. they say we don’t care and we do:)
His wife is hella fucking lucky. Men like this are RARE.
Im glad he intervened. Not many people would. I always roll my eyes when people say people who eat meat dont care about animals.
Right after getting cucked by a buck. Yes. Soo manly 😂
I like how he talks to the Doe like she's his own child, it's nice, "I'm gonna stay here until you get up" and "Stay away from boys"
He seems like such a gentle soul.
I mean if that were my daughter the buck would have been dead lol
Me too!
@@LuvBugBlaqkHart the buck would have been tonight's dinner
@Jesus Gonzalez is he wrong though, vegans act like people just kill every animal they see, taking the moral high ground because they’re living beings, well guess what, plants are people too
Thank you. That was very kind of you to help her.
The kindness of you doing this got my follow. Most people would of looked the other way hunter or not what's right is right and I love deer in the nature living but also to eat. All living deserve respect. Thank you sir.
It's crazy that I ran across this video. Three years ago I had this happen in my yard in the very back of the field at the tree line. I heard my ducks raising hell and noticed the were way back there which they never do because of predators of course. Went to see what was going on in the cart and she was in real bad shape. He beat her up real bad. The damn ducks were trying to help her. They were gathered all around her hollering like crazy at him while she lay there helpless. Damndest thing I ever seen. He would not stop! Was after the ducks and me! Attacked my cart several times. Finally my husband came out there with the truck when he realised I was fighting a buck with the golf cart. We finally got him backed up in the tree line so we picked her up and put her on the tailgate and took her up to the house. She was completely incapacitated. I made a bed for her on the back porch and she stayed there for two days. Ever since then she basically lives in my back yard. Every now and then I find her on the back porch. I've not seen her with fawn though. She's not tame but she will follow me everywhere I go outside. I believe she feels safe here..
How is she doing?
@@alterbennet5420 I haven't seen her since spring time this year. I hope she's doing ok. They started building some homes on the backside of my property so I'm thinking she has relocated due to all the activity.
@76jaimec too bad. She's probably somewhere close by
He probably broke her reproductive parts with the over mating and now she can't get pregnant 😢
Ducks know what it's like to be used and abused.
"Stay away from boys, they get you in trouble" I couldn't agree more, sir lol

This man is brave! Dude, bucks are highly aggressive when they're in rut and have killed people bc of it. This is the wild but it was sweet of you to help her.
Well he said he was hunting so if the buck tried to attack, the guy could revoke it's life subscription
