  • how can the royal family not have sent the kids to therapy after they lost their mother at such a young age in a tragic car accident? That's crazy to me. Good for him, that he finally did.

    • The thing is that Prince Harry is now Adult and he has ready articles about his Mother’s accident and examined everything in his own way and he understands that something was totally wrong with what happened to his Mother and as Human being he still feels the injustices that No One is been held accountable.it would also seem in his own mind and opinion that something was at play as no one in the family didn’t talk about his mother after she passed Or offer him hand of Comfort To say things will be alright..but also with conspiracy rumours flying around at every corner and turn as an adult He knows the reasons why his mother her life ended there was a villain in the back ground.. and that why He resents his Father especially. I remember a good seven years ago Or eight he was being interviewed by New Zealand Tv reporter asking him about getting married or something to that extend to when will be getting married.. and his reply was l don’t know l don’t care l could go and leave my life as private Citizen this was before he meet Meghan. He knows who was behind his Mother’s Death…

    • I believe that the probable reason for the lack of therapy is due to the fact that it can be leaked or exposed to the media by insiders or outsiders. Look how Diana got scammed into that interview.

The King walked Harry's wife down the aisle like her father at the wedding - they are so ungrateful for all the goodwill and gestures the people have shown to them in the UK. The reality is that UK royal duties do not pay enough for the lifestyle they so desperately want to have. The Prince walked away from his duties and became a celebrity in the US so he can be in the centre of attention and become super rich very quickly.

    • For airing his family laundry in public and trashing his family? I doubt it. Diana respected the monarchy, however she had a bad marriage. She would want her sons to get along, like other parents. William also lost his mother. Just because he never say anything about his grief, doesn't mean he doesn't have one. There is always at least two sides of the story. Didn't Harry say drugs and alcohol help with grieving? Why would he say that? When maybe many young people look up to him?

    • What does telling the world how many Afghans he killed have to do with character? Whining that his brother pushed him? Oh God, no! Telling the world that he lost his virginity in a field being ridden like a "stallion" by an older woman? Doing cocaine? Complaining that his father (actually taxpayers) stopped financially supporting him when he moved away and stopped doing the job that he was being paid? (kind of how it works in the real world - you quit your job, you stop getting paid for it.) How could anyone expect a grown almost 40-year-old married man to support himself? Where is the character he's been showing? Character would be if he moved on with his own life. Maybe if he and Meghan renounced their titles. Instead they do Oprah interviews, she writes children's books authored as the Duchess of Sussex, they do a docu-series, and he write@ a book - all focuses on the Royal Family and whining about it. He needs to get a life. I feel bad for their children. They're going to have new family on their father's side. They have hardly any family on their mother's side. But it's never Harry or Meghan's fault. It anyone else's fault. 🙄

  • Very insightful interview and Michael is a real pro. This is really an education in mental health and grief not dealt with as a child. Am sure this touches home with many people and families. I recall in parts of Europe when people wore all dark clothes for a period of time after a loved one's demise as well as a dark patch to let people know they were grieving. This was like a healing period. Today, and for quite some time now, people just have to get along with life almost immediately - no time to dwell. Don't think Prince Harry is out to hurt anyone - he is just drawing attention to stuff he has dealt with and feel this is going to help others. Perhaps he has a calling to the therapy world as he seems to be a very kind man. People see that even a Royal child has issues no different to the everyday family. He is finding his path so hopefully a lot of good will come from this. All families have issues. Blessings galore.

I grew up in a very abusive, dysfunctional family and after a major violent assault from a family member while I was in my 30's, I cut off all contact. It took me another 10 years to finally get help and a wonderful therapist. I have PTSD not PTSI. I have had a lot of successful trauma therapy and am much better today, but I still have PTSD. Kind of like a sober alcoholic. PTSD no longer controls my life, but it is something that I have to continue to work on. High stress or traumatic events brings it out even more. But I have better tools and insight to cope.

    • Post traumatic stress symptoms are what happen following a traumatic event and can happen for everyone. It becomes a disorder when those symptoms don't go away and start to interfere with your daily life. This is why it is important to seek help for your mental health following a traumatic event like losing your mother as a young child or fighting in a war as a young adult. The Royal Family clearly failed both Harry and William following the sudden death of their mother. They both believed for many, many years that she wasn't dead and would come back for them. They didn't have a loving supportive family and apparently didn't have access to good therapy. They likely weren't offered any therapy at all. It is a recipe for disaster. The Royal Family is dysfunctional and I would go as far as to say abusive. I hope they get help and break the cycle. Perhaps the royal family needs to end.
