    • Why is this so special about it? Really, you Americans hype simple realistic thinking of a simple man who is a very good fighter but as a person realistic and knows the rules of life. Why do u in America must make of everything a big hype or show? Peter does not behave.....idkn, like Conor or some other fighters. Slavic people had always this work ethic, that in Life u must always rely only on yourself and work hard. Only the family will help, give, love, and provide you all u want and be there no matter what happens. Maybe you understand now better why Khabib was so furious at Conor. In my case it's the same, don't mention my family, parents in a diss respect way. That's the end of the line. In our culture it's been always so...I'm a catholic, but it does not matter what religion u are, it's about the respect of elders and family. Nothing special.

    • @@Bojan-tg2vk Because this perspective has been entirely lost in the West, replaced by braindead consumerism, addiction to ultra-processed foods, porn, drugs (largely legal), and dependence on the government rather than yourself/family. Mass abdication of personal responsibility on a societal level - it makes this traditional/sane perspective you speak of seem particularly interesting to Westerners even though it has been the default more or less for West and East alike throughout all of history until very recently. You should consider yourself fortunate to not have grown up here (I am American)

    • @@Bojan-tg2vk A little confidence and compassion for being a hard worker is definitely not a bad thing and it has nothing to do with being American. You are just a negative person with no self confidence. Move on now because YOU are nothing special.

    • Tryptaminedm speak for yourself, you should be the one whos considers themself fortunate. Your lucky enough to even be able to go on youtube and type away your braindead misrepresentation of America. You should go live with matarese circle (that clearly envys our American freedom) where you and him can question why someone quotes a simple mindset. Whats special is that its being PROVEN and shown to be true by petr. You can take anyone where he’s from with the same mindset thats just some goat farmer and then you’ll be right nothing will be special about quoting him because he’s not showing anything special happening with having that mindset. Unless you live in a third world country you should be blaming your parents for feeling that you were unfortunate growing up.

Because the lead arm is extended your jabs are faster to hit and you can paw and extend on people's heads easier. You can also feint better with it as it is way faster than every other stance with the jab. The weakness of it is that because of the long jab you can paw it out and hit a big power shot easier than others. That's about it.

A Russian man asked me in broken English did I like wrestling i told him i mainly watch it. He asked me if I knew ufc. Of course I got into a conversation about fighters and he told me his friend was in the ufc. Turned out to be Petr yan. I was told many story’s about him back in their home town and the guy is a born killer. Apparently he would have street fights every week outside clubs and bars and was always knocking people out. Nothing fake about this man. Great video btw I like this style of video. Highlighting a fighters career like that.

  • Like for any other russian, you can always become better than your opponent technically, but the thing that really makes him unbeatable and nobody can do anything about it has to be the supernatural amount of cardio he has. Like sometimes it looks like he's more powerful at the later rounds than the first one. He could fight for hours without tiring a bit. These guys have enhanced this ability to unbelievable levels, like they have pain and russian cold weather flowing in their veins constantly. The thing that makes him unique, though, it's really his explosiveness and tendency to sharpen up every single movement he does with his body. His brutality is surgical, not just pure power, but precisely thought to make you struggle and suffer, extremely technical style of fighting. What a beast, one of the most entertaining fighters in UFC today by far.

  • All the people who’ve ever told you that phrase “it’s the quiet ones you have to watch out for”, this is the man they were talking about. Quiet, calm, collected, every move is calculated. To the ppl with an average E.Q , he seems like a normal guy... but “real recognize real”, and the real ones (and/or those who have the ability to read people well) know that this dude acts with very bad intentions in the octagon. Outside the octagon he seems like he can probably be a good dude, but push the right button and he’s capable of extreme malevolence.

  • Probably the best description of him I can think of. He really fights like he's already THE man. So exciting in his confidence and audacity on the feet.
