Crandall, Remember that white pickup that was picked up by that tornado and thrown into some trees by the side of the road. The parents were hurt and could not get out of the pickup. So the 9 year old Son went looking for lllhelp for his parents!! On our local news hear in the twin cities just recently had a wonderful story on this couple with the 9 year old son went looking for help and saved their life's!!! The father had on a neck and a back supporters, and will heal up in no time!! Both were interviewed about the tornado incidence! Both did excellent jobs!! The Father was so proud of his Son!!! ----- I just wanted to share that story!!! I hope you have a Great Week!! 🤗❤️👍🙏🏼🙋🏻♀️

Thieves come out in the dark. Lock up the animals and put hidden camera's all over. You don't even know if they want to sneak into your home. Get a couple of German Shepherds. They are very loyal and will protect your family and home and the animals as you sleep. I love you all so much. I got you all in my prayers. God bless!
Amen. German Shepherds are actually awesome pets to have and wow how they love on their family for sure!!! Goose is such a good doggy but he may need some help with 3 young boys and way out in the country. I'm thankful Crandall Is usually home and knows how to use a gun!!! He might want to teach Marci how to target shoot. Sad how much crime there is these days. The City of Rochester NY I live 20 minutes away from In the country had 5 shooting murders and one stapping murder just this past weekend. I don't go into the city any more. It used to be decent. It's becoming so much worse since all the illegal immigrants have arrived. We are a sanctuary state. God Bless America And The World 🙌. Good morning. You need to consider either a large drainage system or digging down until you clear out the clay in the driveway for better drainage. You are just moving your problem from one place to another. I would look into creating a swale with deep drain in the bottom where you are planting the grass in the middle island
Maverick’s growing so fast ! All three boys are adorable !
In Iowa they put burlap over the grass seed or straw to keep the birds from eating it and hold it in.

Get you a little straw and put around your strawberries it should keep moisture in and protect the berries at the same time.

Just wait till your twins dump a whole gallon of milk on the floor and are drinking it off the floor with the dog! Speaking from experience here. LOL! I do have twin grandsons! 💖😆💖 Getting the gate up will hopefully keep folks from using your driveway for a turn around. I have actually had people drive through my driveway that loops around my house. It does make me a bit nervous to see someone pull in, drive through, and then drive away when they get back to the road, and I have no idea who it was. Makes me wish I could afford fencing and gates. 🤔🤷♀😳

If you see potatoes coming up through the dirt, be sure to cover them over with dirt so they don't turn green by the sun. Good job on the gate.

You could put a wheel on yhe bottom of the gate to help compensate for the weigbt of the gate

I remember one year, my stepdad and I turned over the clay yard. Then did the soil add in planted the yard with grass. It was a lot of work, but it came in nice and thick and beautiful. Then we discovered my baby sister was severely allergic to grass. 😢 We had to pull it all up. He managed to cut it in strips and I worked on rolling it up. I'm not sure what was worse putting it down or taking it back up. He gave it to someone. So i complement you a all the energy that took getting the yard together. Great job on the temporary gate. I would find it disturbing to know people were driving up in our yard as well. Especially that close to your house. My kid loves your pig's name. Great video

Tic Tac Toe works everytime. Nice job on the gate Crandall!! I can see people maybe pulling in your drive and backing out right away and heading back in the right direction. Not pull up farther and scope things out. That's not good. You did the right thing by putting up a gate. Maybe put up a camera facing out front of the property. Marci, i miss the twins today. ❤ ❤ 😊
I was taught to co-plant my fescue with rye grass. The rye grass will grow up faster than the fescue and protect the fescue until it is grown. The rye grass will eventually die back and you will be left with a beautiful lawn. Don’t cut your new grass until it has started to top out with seeds or has just gone to seed. Cut it long for the first few cuttings and than work down to a lower cut.
Glad you got the gate up and it will feel safer. Looks good.

We planted rye for cooler weather than came back with Bermuda for hot weather...and repeat with rye every fall...
I think we are going to do that.

When Lumnah Acres did their first field they used the harrow to clean out rocks and branches, spread their seed mix, and then ran the harrow again to kind of work some dirt over the seed. They had a few acres at one time tho. If you don't watch him, you should try. They have built their place from the ground up including solar, gravity fed water for the animals and so on.

Marcie if their everberring strawberries they will keep producing 😊 try some coffee grounds and Epsom salts and maybe some straw to get the fruit up off the ground a bit after your rains pass by you 😉 👍 all is not lost there is always next year if their not everbearing ❤

Speed was normal? Only thing for me, being a bit deaf; your mic picks up too much wind noise. Of course you cannot do anything about the wind but you could minimise it with better mics, also both wear mics as Marcie occasionally cannot be heard at all. Im glad you got a gate up, I cant imagine why strangers are driving up and standing there way too long before leaving. Also, I dont understand why they come so far inside if they are just turning around.

Just an idea, probably you have then laying around from old bikes vehicles. Add some reflector lights to the 1st fening each side of the gate, maybe white, then add red ones to the gate. A cheap idea we do on perimeter yard fence add the .99 type solar light to those area. I use zip ties. Buy those in the multi packs, def.cheaper.

Might have been wise to go get a big enough bit,that way you could have adjusted the hinge after the gate was hung,to turn it upside down,so noone can lift the gate off and drive through anyway.
