The 2023 US Open main draw runs from August 28 - September 10 in New York City at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The tournament takes place for the 143rd time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Last year, Spain's Carlos Alcaraz and Poland's Iga Swiatek claimed the men's and women's singles titles. It was both players' first US Open title, with Alcaraz winning his first Grand Slam title and Swiatek winning her third Grand Slam title.   • For those who don't know, Laslo Đere's biography is truly sad and I wish him nothing but the best. He lost his beloved mother when he was 16 and 7 years later (when he was 23) his father passed away. He's now 28 years old

    • We Serbs, of course, know everything about Laslo, what he went through, how much strength he needed to fight for all this on his own, how difficult it is when he cannot share his successes with his loved ones, and that is why it is difficult for us in matches like this when they play two Serbian players, we stand on anyone's side, especially when it comes to Laslo. Otherwise, he is also a great guy. I think it's difficult for Novak to play through him for exactly those reasons.

  • Aunque en Estados Unidos y algunos países de Europa siempre apoyen a los otros tenistas…, deben de reconocer que Novak es único! Y que tarde o temprano nadie lo va a poder igualar en números de campeonatos y su manera extraordinaria de juego. Es el GOAT del tenis! En latinoamérica sí se le apoya muchísimo y es un placer verlo jugar! Excelente por su compatriota también!

    • Yo soy latino, y no veo el apoyo de muchos, si es una bestia jugando, pero se lo conoce con otro nombre "dark vader del tennis", tiene un juego que no entusiasma al menos a mi, y preguntandole a profesores de tennis dicen lo mismo, aca djere lo paseo, si no fuera porque bajo el nivel abrumadoramente se llevaba el juego en 3 set corridos, es un peloteador y devolvedor en todos aspectos, jugando asi nunca le gano a federer o nadal prime, solo cuando ya dejaron de entrenar (Federer); o cuando se empezaron a lesionar (Nadal), ahora la baja en el tennis es tan grande que un jugador hizo historia por ser el numero 1 mas joven, eso te dice algo.

  • Has anyone else noticed most highlight (official) videos of Djokovic show more of the points he looses in a set than wins. If not for the actual score, one could think he lost the match.

    • Yes there’s a reason for it. It’s because they use an automated system that detects certain points to include, such as winners, break points, set points, etc. Djokovic’s game revolves around being a wall and counter attacker. This means that for the opponent to hang in there, they’ll have to be the ones hitting winners. Novak is not heavily offensive, so there’s not a ton of winners/post-worthy winners for him. Hence, why so many of highlights you see with djokovic he loses them

    • if it's from him digging a low ball or from losing his balance yes. The sound is only considered hindrance if the other player is striking the ball when he does it and it would need to be intentional.

  • How do you run better in the fifth set than the first? You go to the washroom where magic happens😂 I watch this guy do it at least five times would be down two sets goes to the washroom and comes back running as if he was 10 years younger.😂😂😂😂😂 The question is why can't we believe what we see with our own eyes. It's actually crazy enough to know that he's taking something in those 10 minutes washroom breaks between sets and he only does that when he's losing badly.     • Probably negotiating djere’s deal…It’s match fixing. They will make significantly more revenue from the event if the biggest star makes it to the semifinals/finals. Is it really that hard figure out? Tennis has an awful history with corruption, but people will act like I’m crazy for this comment.   • Favorizovanim teniserima namestaju meceve,predaju ,a ovaj zemljak navalio kao.mutav umesto da mu je olaksao. Tskvi smo i zato sve sto uradimo uradimo na duplo tezi nacin. Mozda je tako bolje Nikome nismo nista dužni i nema ucena.
