I really miss them times, no phones just either ringing the flat to see if you can play or just going to the usual spot your friends will be at. No worries in the world, just living in the moment w/o a care and creating our own fun. Scary now looking back it went so quick that never got the time x luxury to appreciate it. • Apart from him being 36 not 56 or even 46. I am 45 and I had a mobile phone over twenty years ago, so I am sure he could have had one, too. He certainly would have been aware of them. So all this fake BS about 'before mobile phones' and knocking on friends doors and playing British Bulldog just comes across as a little fake. Much like his persona in this video. As he goes on his accent and lexicon changes, did you notice? It becomes a lot less 'street' as it were. He is a grown ass man who has latched on to the current vocabulary to remain relevant. It is a little embarrassing.

      @matthewb9621@matthewb96212 жыл бұрын
    • @@matthewb9621 when he talks about ‘before mobile phones’ i assume he is talkin about his childhood, possibly primary school, so early childhood. Idk about u but back then i’d assume you would get your phone around secondary school times unless if you travelled to and from school on your own. Although yes he may be aware about phones, what he said is accurate because most children from primary schools are not holding phones back then, especially compared to now. Not saying that they weren’t children w/ phones, I believe it just wasn’t that common. We really had to go outside to have our fun, technology wasn’t what it is now in the past. So that’s why what he says here is actually relatable, to me anyway. I can’t speak for everyone doe just on what i saw.

      @antz97@antz972 жыл бұрын
    • @@antz97 I get the sentiment he is tapping into, but it is a little odd and a little fake to me. He isn't that old and he isn't that poor.. He was in school this century, not the last century. The whole video seems to be little bit of a parody, if that makes sense. He was talking about having to struggle to keep up with £365 a month for his car, then says it isn't an issue for him. Why? Because he has a nice BBC contract for his TV show, that is why. Probably earns £100k a year. At least £50k a year along with any other work he does. He isn't exactly hussling on the streets trying to earn money no and probably hasn't for a decade or so. If you cut out all of his rambling nonsense I can get what he is saying. But coming from him just leaves me a little cold and unimpressed.He is attempting to relate to the youth of today. He is a 36 year old man with two children, for heaven's sake. Do you know what I mean? You get me Fam? *Cringe*

  • The difference between wearing lonsdale boxing shoes and a slazenger tracksuit compared to white air forces and a tech tracksuit is huge. The difference between wearing white air forces and a tech tracksuit compared to a fendi tracksuit and pradas is basically nothing. People look at that designer shit and think its obnoxious or they get jealous. Why would you want to walk around and have everything think that about you. A nike tracksuit, decent trainers and a modest hatchback is all you need to draw gal. The girls that people who rock designer and drive rented mercs get are the lowest of society, why would you even wanna spend time with them.

    • @@reazallykhan8614 haha really. I don’t know who taught you that but it’s wrong and backwards. That will be going into someone else’s pocket who owns the building and in turn you will buy it for them while you live in it over 10-20 years. If you OWN it you could have the chance to rent it out and work less have more life or sell for a profit hopefully. These a small stress and part of becoming a man
