he's speaking facts, my parents were raised dirt poor my mum and her 5 siblings had to share a can of peaches for dessert and the way they raised me I always was greatful for their effort of making life fun for us. Going brockwell park or taking the train to science museum during half terms and that. Alhamdulilah we have a good house now and I'm certain its because when they were grinding they lived within their means. Life's alot better now they have money in but the way i was raised has kept me grounded. Made me value things regardless of how cheap it is

Idk about u but back then i’d assume you would get your phone around secondary school times unless if you travelled to and from school on your own. Although yes he may be aware about phones, what he said is accurate because most children from primary schools are not holding phones back then, especially compared to now. Not saying that they weren’t children w/ phones, I believe it just wasn’t that common. We really had to go outside to have our fun, technology wasn’t what it is now in the past. he's speaking facts, my parents were raised dirt poor my mum and her 5 siblings had to share a can of peaches for dessert and the way they raised me I always was greatful for their effort of making life fun for us. Going brockwell park or taking the train to science museum during half terms and that. Alhamdulilah we have a good house now and I'm certain its because when they were grinding they lived within their means. Life's alot better now they have money in but the way i was raised has kept me grounded. Made me value things regardless of how cheap it is
