Tekken 7 (Japanese: 鉄拳7) is a fighting game developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It is the seventh main and ninth overall installment in the Tekken series, and is the first in that series to be released for PC. Tekken 7 was released to arcades in March 2015. An updated arcade version, Tekken 7: Fated Retribution, was released in July 2016, and features expanded content including new stages, costumes, items and characters. The home versions released for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One in June 2017 were based on Fated Retribution.
Set shortly after the events of Tekken 6, the plot focuses on the events leading up to the final battle between martial artist Heihachi Mishima and his son, Kazuya. Tekken 7 introduces several new elements to the fighting system, such as Rage Arts and the Power Crush mechanic, making the game more beginner friendly than previous iterations in the series. Tekken 7 was a critical and commercial success, selling 11.8 million copies as of February 2024. A sequel, Tekken 8, was released on January 26, 2024.
Tekken 8 (鉄拳8) is a fighting game co-developed by Bandai Namco Studios and Arika and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment.[1] The eighth main and tenth overall installment in the Tekken series, the game is set to be released for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X and Series S.
According to director Katsuhiro Harada, Tekken 8 gameplay will focus on "aggressiveness" and will have a new "Heat" gauge system, in addition to returning gameplay features from Tekken 7, such as Rage system-based attacks, with the Rage Drive having been separated and reworked as a Heat system-based move known as Heat Smash, leaving the Rage State that can only have an access to use Rage Art once more like prior to the Fated Retribution version of Tekken 7. The gameplay will reward aggressiveness rather than those who "turtle up". Similar to Soul Charge state from Soulcalibur VI, the Heat State grants not only chip damage and additional move sets, but also changes the properties of some characters’ move sets, such as a heavy guard break. Fighters can also dash cancel their designate moves into the Heat State, similar to MAX Mode from The King of Fighters series. The Heat State’s timer can be stopped if fighters’ move sets are being used.
Everyone in Tekken 7 looks dead compared to Tekken 8 and Tag 2
fr! why do their eyes look like that in 7!?
@@edwuano7 tag 2 absolutely killed 7, cause they had such small budget
Let's atleast be glad Tekken 8 had the budget now to give us better looking models
What about Tekken 6?
Tekken 6 looks better than all 3 of those games
Tekken 7 lars looks like raw chicken
His eyes also changed colour.
It's not just the graphics and facial expressions, also the camera work on each signature intro is way better
Honestly everyone looks damn weird as heck in last gens Tekken 7 like some plastic toy dolls or so😂 But now in Tekken 8 everyone's a literal beauty kinda and looks so real.
What about Tekken 6?
High-end pc or PS5 user?
@@osirismoorstage2.1it was good for that time back in 2008 but now it looks outdated obviously compared to tekken 8 😂
@@iatepacman745 Not responding to old comments anymore
Lili looks like two different people 😭
Since tekken 5 Lili un tekken 7 don’t look like Lili un tekken 5 and 6
She looks better in T8
In 7 every female Kinda had the same doll face but in 8 they all now have very distinct faces, and you can even tell their ethnicities apart.
@@aa-pj4vz yeah I'm super grateful for that but it's just funny how drastically different she looks but it's a _major_ upgrade
T8 seems to be what they always wanted the characters to trully look like.
No, Tekken 6 looks better still…
@@osirismoorstage2.1lies
@@osirismoorstage2.1 I respectfully disagree
@@r1yo1 I’m not responding to my old comments anymore
Not Devil Jin with the most menacing glow up in Tekken!
Nah, look at kazuya
@@florian2817 DO NOT GET ME STARTED ON KAZ! THAT NEW JACKET DID WONDERS FOR HIS DRIP!!!
if not that then what?
Bruhhh the only characater that look marginally better in T7 is Steve
This was my concluding thought as well
They gave Steve some Botox or something in T8. Why does his face look for puffy?
Thank you for this video. Brought back so many of good memories...😭🎮❤️
The unreal engine 5 is on fire with tekken 8
Excellent & Marvelous(TK 7 & TK 8)
Lili best glow up😍 But where is Zafina ?🤣
For me the best face in Tekken 8 is law 😮
That's the power of poverty.
Steve’s gained weight LOL
Just let it go bruh ...it's over 😂😂
@@ClydeMystik325 dude it was just a joke, besides when I first saw that, I was never mad at it LOL
Glad they overhauled how everyone looks, Tekken 7 could easily pass as a PS3 port with how rough the models looked. Lili looked so rough and her hair being basically her TTT2 hair but fused together and with that weird physics was so bad XD
Wrong
@@osirismoorstage2.1 whatever
@@APO_Prince Yk, the ironic part is, Tekken 6 is still the best looking Tekken game. Not every male fighter is a body builder, all the fighter’s character models look more detailed and realistic, the stages look more realistic, and the faces of all the fighters are more believable. That’s not to say Tekken 8 doesn’t look great, but Tekken 6 is more realistic, and still looks better than Tag 2, T7, and in some a lot ways, T8. Especially when upscaled (resolution)
@@osirismoorstage2.1 "wrong"
Tekken 7: Hydrated Tekken 8: Dehydrated
Tekken 7: Made of Wax Tekken 8: Made of MEAT
7 be like: "How much subsurface scattering do you want?" "Yes."
Hwoarang definitely got the main character face upgrade
No difference. Asuka still has big hands. Feng punches with the left hand instead of right
Imagine the handjobs.
The dude in the thumbnail, his scars moved lol. Magic scars? 😮
I swear Claudio was taller in Tekken 7. 1,80? No way, he was clearly taller; for some reason they decided to make him shorter.
Tekken is The Best Fighting Game 💙💛❤️🇹🇩🇹🇩🇹🇩🇹🇩🇹🇩🇹🇩
in Tekken 7 everyone is the same...
You forgot zafina
It looks like 7 was made for PS2.
Tekken 7 simply looked bad tbh. Even for it's time or whatever. Everyone looks dead. Like corpses being puppeted or something. Or maybe living wax moulds. Even older Tekkens looked better working with the graphics they had.
Tekken 8 Win !
Tekken 8 looks the best finally, everyone just looks so much better it’s like cgi 😂
Honestly now after the fixes Steve looks better in 8 but am I the only one who thinks Nina looked better in 7
T8 is probably the prettiest CG of hers IMHO wdym 🥴😭
@@ranzudezuLRTC I mean she looks old and I didint like the design in 7 she looks cool young able vicious in 8 she looks like she retired 😂
Nah tekken 8 Nina looks way better

Jun: Hey law your scar is on the wrong side. Law: Yeah I decided to move it. Jun: How? Law: Wait how are you here? Jun: *VANISHES* LAW:😮
0:56 Oh god what happened to his left eye?!?
it's kinda like Jin's Tattoo in his arm, but for Claudio it's the power of light from the Sirius Star
@@Narukami930 Not the mark next to the eye. I mean the iris looks like it’s out of position.
@@slimballs9650That's... from using the power of light from the Sirius Star. How else are we supposed to explain that?
When Claudio activates his power, his eye basically shifts to negative. The sclera becomes black, while his iris and pupil become white.
The difference is only the brightness !
