I won’t be shocked if tekken 8 gets the fighting game of the year award at the next game awards. They have done an excellent job with this game.

Holy moly. Between Tekken 7 and Tekken 8, it was 9 years between release date while the rest were like 1-4 years between the releases.
Why they wait so long?
Tekken 7 It was released in 2017 and 2015 in arcades

tekken 6 was released in 2007 while tekken 7 got released in 2017. which is 10 years of difference.
Yeah but between that you had several Tekken games like Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and TekkenxStreet Fighter. Moreover, Tekken 7 was realeased in 2015 in arcades.@@vilzillastudio435
In Tekken 4 some character has different final boss. When you play as Kazuya Mishima or Hwoarang, the final boss is Jin Kazama. When you play as Lee Chaolan or Violet, the final boss is Combot. Otherwise is Heihachi Mishima.
and if u play as Heihachi, Kazuya is his final boss
Kinda sucks that both Tekken 4 and MKDA didn't have any final boss until their next game and it made up for it. I guess PS2 era tech needed a lot more time to develop than the other eras I guess. I know T4 still was going in the arcades but guess they didn't plan on a final boss for that game compared to all the others cause of the new hardware leap.
Tekken 4 was one of my last favorite because the lame final boss being diaper Heihachi.

In Tekken 3, if you play as heihachi, you fight against jin and when you beat the first ogre form, the cinematic is ogre eating jin. It's obvious but I like those changes in history when you play another character
The music and overall ambiance of Tekken 2's final stage gives me chills everytime.

I like how the mostly a quarter of this video was basically the part of tekken 8
Which is funny because its just the fight between them after they lost the devil blood. It was a LOT longer with Angel Jin fighting True Devil Kazuya to open things up. I'm honestly surprised it wasn't included because holy shit, was it epic (not to say the human fight afterwords wasn't. But seeing just the human part kind of takes the epic scope out of it).
Azazel has returned in Tekken 8 as a boss character! I will never forget how hard he was in Tekken 6

Cheap bastitch. I mean, chip damage was NEVER a thing. You know a boss is cheap as hell when they bring a whole new hp draining mechanic with them.

Let me tell you, if it wasn't for Tekken 3, this series wouldn't be what it is today. Tekken fans owe a huge debt of gratitude to the creators of Tekken 3 for setting the stage for what Tekken 8 is today.

Nice. But, canon wise, Lee is not the one who defeated Azazel, it was Jin. Also, you forgot Devil Kazumi, since she's the final boss of arcade mode, even though it's non-canon to the story mode.

In Tekken 7, if you are playing as Kazuya, and then defeat Heihachi, you'll be able to fight the impossible to defeat secret final fight, and that fighter is... *AKUMA*
Everytime Gouki is a secret boss, He's hard to beat. In every single street fighter game if he is the secret boss as shin akuma then you'll have a hard time. His combos are ridiculous.

I've been playing Tekken since the beginning. I was a teenager when the first game came out. Played every single one ever since. I can say with confidence that the final battle between Jin and Kazuya is beyond epic. I definitely shed Hokuto tears by the end. Everything was just so beautifully done. I'd be perfectly fine if this is how the main story ends. Go out on top, I say. It's been 30 years. Let Reina begin a new story, and go from there.
Tekken 7 -> also Kazumi & Devil Kazumi or Akuma Tekken 8 -> also Devil Kazuya, Azazel (1 perfect match), True Devil Kazuya (2 perfect matches) & Angel Jin (3 perfect matches) in Arcade Battle!

The final fight for Jin and Kazuya is not as supernatural powered beings, but as mere powerful humans.
I haven't played a Tekken game since 5 on ps2, looking at this the new 8 looks insane and fighting animations look clean asf. Deff will pick it up in a year or 2 when all the DLC comes out.
I hope harada releases a tekken HD collection. I’d gladly pay 60 for Tekken 1-Tag as long as they are 4k and online

In terms of visual presentation, I think it'll be a while before they top Azazel. Jinpachi was a close second.

Tekken 3 has best tunes, best dressess and best fighting arenas. Tekken 3 was unique in every way. I'm Pakistani and I used be good at in all characters but my favourite were King and Paul. In tekken 3 Kings grapplings combos were not easy to break so I knew all chain grappling combos of king.
Tekken 4 will always be my favorite just for the atmosphere of it
Tekken 3 took the biggest leap of possibly any fighting game ever, aside from street fighter 2. I know because I was right in the thick of it, in the west and in Japan. Never forget those times.

Kazuya still has the same VA since Tekken 4, Masonori Shinohara. For dialogue, guy is just straight up more evil then in the previous appearances. For gameplay, he recorded completely new battle grunts and screams (Same case for literally everyone else), though a few of his Tekken 4 voice clips are once again reused.

Final boss in Tekken 7 was so hard to beat, and the hidden story with akuma, giving us a hide final boss it's almost impossible, in easy mode it's still hard, and i read that in middle and hard mode there are just a few people that completed it. I couldn't. Hope and waiting to play Tekken 8

Dear god! That Jin Vs Kazuya match at the end was way too bloody long. Both getting multiple resurrections and ridiculous Dragonball-Z style close ups. Just bloody fight without all that camera and super-duper charge up crap!
