If you box then you know..Ryan looks like a drunk flamingo with his poor footwork...hand speed and power aside, if you are not correctly balanced with throwing in the heat of the moment all punches will not be effective....rewatch this video and LOOK at the feet of both. Devin is technically perfect with foot placement and movement. Ryan is just Ryan...he relies too much on the speed and instinct and as Tank AND Devin said he doesn't have the basics down

Ryan is undoubtedly the most skilled fighter in his division but unfortunately he lacks the discipline and will power to be great. Haney will win by decision as he will stay more composed more consistently throughout the rounds.

And Ryan will be that “adversity”? He’s really okay at best in comparison to someone like Loma, with less technique, and is easier to read. And this is a Devin Haney that moved up and beat tf outta the now former champ Regis Prograis, knocking him down and having him stumbling on multiple occasions. There’s a skill gap between the two fighters and it’ll show.

As for his weight, he and Haney made weight and he accepted a hydration clause, so if he wanted to he could’ve gained more weight but he didn’t. Someone who’s “washed up” doesn’t become a champion, Haney was just better in every aspect. I seriously don’t get why people downplay his accomplishments.
