  • Rodgers has an iron arm, seriously. There's so much strength and power with his throws, and he somehow manages to keep the accuracy he needs in order to put the ball right where it needs to be. But I wonder how much more power he's able to put into his throws because of his throwing motion. It's so unique because it's also so quick. Like he's flicking his wrist and the ball travels 60 yards. That bomb he threw in Detroit? What made that throw so impressive wasn't just the distance it travelled, but the arc the throw had. Makes you wonder how far he could really throw the ball.

That Jeff George pass was ridiculous. I remember always being impressed with how hard cam threw slant routes. Short passes but it was like the ball teleported. I feel like during Flacco’s rookie I saw a feature on him where they said he could throw some crazy distance from his knees, which is obviously very helping while playing qb in the nfl

    • Nah. Joe was another Eli. First of all, having a big arm, does not make you a good QB. If you notice, this list isnt about the longest throws in NFL history as he missed many. It's more about the longest throws from good to great QB's over the last 15-20 years, with some clips from other eras sprinkled in. Joe, like Eli Manning, was a average regular season QB. Not great, not bad, just "good enough". But, Joe was a great post season QB, and somehow, he almost always seemed to be able to turn up his game a few notches when the playoffs came around. He's beaten tom brady twice in the post season, beat peyton manning, etc. This is really no different the Eli beating manning in superbowl, as Joe, playing in the AFC could only beat those two in the divisional game or championship game. Joe nor Eli should be in the Hall of Fame. The HOF is a career award for having great all around careers. Eli and Joe were only great during 2 or 3 repsective playoff runs each. Otherwise, they were never considered top 5 (some might even say top 10) players at their postion.

    • @@jeremybamgbade as a Ravens fan I need to see Joe Flacco's playoff electricity from Jackson because aside from that one game in Tennessee this past season he's disappointed me Flacco and Jackson have the same problem lack of wide receiver depth that's why Flacco never reached what could have possibly been a HOF Career all things considered but we gave him too much money and we suffered from that decision

  • I was at the pre-season Atlanta vs. Chiefs game in Atlanta with a couple of friends when Mahomes threw that 69 yard bomb. Our seats were in the corner where Hill caught that pass and did his hip thrusts. We were about 10 rows from the field. As amazing as that was, the funny part was that we happened to be sitting next to Chiefs fans. They were Hill's adoptive parents. Looking back, it was funny but at the time, we were a bit nervous because Hill's step father was the biggest trash talker I have EVER seen. He turned around and told the Atlanta fans that their team sucked. Fortunately, it was a pre-season game or we might have been beaten up....:)

  • Who else didn't expect Jeff Garcia to be on this list? Impressive too cuz he had to scramble left and spin his hips. Also Brady had more arm than I realized. And man, Bradshaw's deep balls looked effortless.

Brady the all time goat and Moss was definitely one of the most gifted athletes ever. Hands, speed, balance, hops, vision, timing, football IQ. So nasty, they made his name into a verb.
