  • I had the opportunity in 2005 to drive one of those H2 s at an event in Bahrain on an Off-Road course that GM had set up at the international raceway there. It was quite the experience taking it up and down on a slope they claimed was 75 degrees. I was looking for h2 before buying the h3 but almost every single h2 I found. Had lots of issues in the interior. Such handles being loose, windows no working. Sun roof broken and many other little detail. I was starting to be a little disappointed until I found a hummer h3 alpha with a v8. I didn't even know they existed. It had 200k miles when I bought it and it was in excellent condition inside and out. Better than any h2 I seen while looking around. 20k miles later. Still running strong, no issues. Gone to Miami and back from Dallas and many others state like Tulsa etc. Towed my 93 land cruiser multiple times. No issues. I personally now like and recommend an h3 more than h2.
