  • This is one of the best tutorials that I've seen. You were very detailed, and you showed every single step. There was also no background music to interfere with the tutorials. Excellent job!

  • 60/40 solder/ 40/60 I can't remember exactly which will make your life exponentially easier. You won't have any need for the Flux or any of that jazz. On projects like these I've never even bothered with it. Look for a better solder and your projects will go much faster and smoother. Pre-tin the strips and pre-tin the wires. You'll be golden, pony boy.

    • I got the clips except they came in the wrong size for the 10mm lights I had. Although the clips save a ton of time, they get loose over time and need to be adjusted. I've used similar clips for 90 degree turns. Soldering does take much longer but it lasts much longer. Thanks for the input and for watching! Happy holidays🙂

  • Sorry man but you are teaching very bad soldering techniques to your viewers. Those are poor connections, no pre-tinning on the pads, and your exposed wires are cut too long. Everything might have worked this time but either you got lucky or they are going fail eventually. Please realize that I mean this as constructive criticism and not an insult.
