  • I use this all the time especially when I am trying to eat healthier. You get eggs in a few minutes without boiling water. So much faster and easier.

  • Seems to undercook the eggs a bit more than I prefer. I dont want any uncooked whites. And the best part of an omelette is the crispy bits so this steamed omelette doesnt look appealing to me. However, I agree that this would be an amazing tool for dorms

    • if its undercooked, just add more water and wait a few more minutes till your desired egg. And it is steam that cooks the egg thats why it wasnt crispy. kinda make sense tbh

    • Everyone keeps focusing on the “undercooked” comment and not on the fact that it doesn’t make crispy bits. Everyone, I’m aware this is steam based, thank you. I’m just saying personally it wouldn’t make the omelettes like I like them.

  • It is a plastic tray is it safe to cook poached egg and the omelet ? Is it not harmful ? Does it smell like plastic? Can it be eaten? Thank you

  • I’ve had one of these for a long time. Initially, I used it to cook eggs in a variety of ways. I found it best for boiled eggs.

  • I have one and use it all the time! Yes there’s other ways to make eggs without this, but for the convenience and easy clean up? It’s well worth it.

    • I bought mine yesterday and my poached egg was super undercooked so I couldn’t eat it and I did exactly what the recipe said to do. How much more water did you use and does this go for all recipes for it where they are all undercooked?

  • Soft boil instructions to say to let it steam for 2 minutes after shutting the button off so it was too short

  • "any style" No. Not at all. Soft boiled Med. boiled Hard boiled Poached Fluffy omelette-like thing It's not "any style". You can make "any style" on the stove.

    • Unfortunately they don't give the best directions for it. I got one since I eat a lot of eggs, and you have to use more water than they say to. But once you find the right amount it works really well, and makes consistently good eggs. So it's not that the machine doesn't work well, but rather whoever made the directions for the cooking times does not understand what most people like in a decently cooked egg.
