This is a long and comprehensive subject so will be releasing videos in 3 parts. Here is part one- exercise and correcting or preventing deficiencies.
Keeping your mitochondria strong and healthy and your glutathione levels stable, you can age slower and avoid disease as you age.
If you follow the crowd and live the typical American way, good luck. Dare to be different, dare to be healthy. It is doable, but you must understand what to do and why.
What are mitochondria?
As the power plants in virtually every human cell (as well as animal, plant, and fungi cells), mitochondria play an essential role in creating energy to drive cellular function and basically all of our biological processes.
What is glutathione?
Glutathione is a substance made from the amino acids glycine, cysteine, and glutamic acid. It is produced by the liver and involved in many body processes. Glutathione is involved in tissue building and repair, making chemicals and proteins needed in the body, and in immune system function.
Low glutathione levels have been associated with higher risks of cancer, Type 2 diabetes, hepatitis, and Parkinson's disease. You can take glutathione as a supplement or boost glutathione production in the body.
