      @Mlopez856@Mlopez856 Жыл бұрын
    • @@ultimateyagerman it wasn’t determined by the refs. The league changed the rules about contact about permitter players driving/slashing to the hole. It wasn’t just hand checking, big difference was a player advancing to the basket if they establish a path to the basket/act of shooting that their (chest head shoulders) have to go through, the defender was establish their chest, body, in that path before the offensive player establishes/is there in that path. Basically it means you have to get set to take a charge before you make contact with a player driving to basket or taking a shot. The offensive player can make contact with their chest, shoulders, head if the defender has not established themselves and is basically not position to take a charge. Dallas’s defenders could not keep up with Wade, rotate when he drove to the basket. They kept making contact after Wade established his path to the basket/was going around them/was in the act of shooting. Basically they couldn’t move their feet quick enough to take a charge and kept chasing dwade, putting their chest on him while following him to the basket. Basically they did not know how to play defense and Wade, Shaq, Payton, Pat realized this. I don’t even think the way they were playing defense was allowed when mj played. They just never guarded a shorter, powerful, muscular, athletic, high jumping, guard with handles that could make contact and make shots after making, going full speed, jumping at weird angles, body off balance and contorting in the air. They kept playing physical defense on dwade because they figured it was better he was at the ft line 25 times then play weak defense on Shaq and try to have defenders take charges/establish themselves in Dwade’s lanes to the hole because dwade was a pg and would just pass the ball to Shaq who would get easy dunks and baskets or dwade would kick it to Payton or maimi’s 3 pt shooters. I believe Jason Williams was hot and went 14/14 from the mid range and 3’s one game and is an elite passer that got Shaq buckets. So as you can see the opted for dwade to draw fouls and score because if they played better defense locking his lanes down and not fouling him….Shaq and maimi’s role players would score even more pts with a much higher fg% than wade’s 40. Plus if Shaq got going who knows, he could have drawn fouls on Dirk and now they’re really fucked.

    • He was air born/started his jump by the first defender and his leg got touched by the second defender after he got his shot off. First defender insanely knew he fucked up, that’s why he immediately pulled his hands and put them back over his head before the whistle and dwade hadn’t shot yet.

      @nonyobussiness3440@nonyobussiness3440 Жыл бұрын
    • When you have an aggressive first step and drive into the paint in DWades manner its easy to make the foul call. Other stars would get those calls as well before him in the Finals like Kobe and Iverson. Not the first time this started.
