He is not considered the GOAT because he had a super team with Chris Bosh, Dwayne Wade and him with a team that to them was not considered a threat and what the mavs do!! They destroy him with Dirk, Jason Terry and J.J barea If MJ have a team like this in the playoffs, he would give them a sweep

  • This is one of the craziest title runs ever. They beat a strong Portland team, swept the defending champion Lakers (with a still-averaging-25-per-game Kobe, plus Pau, Bynum and Derek Fisher), the KD-Russ-Harden Thunder, and finally the entire Justice League in the Finals. With ONE superstar. That’s why Dirk is a legend. He only got one ring, but it’s one of the most impressive rings ever

On paper, the Mavs appeared outmatched at basically every position (with the possible exception of their front court). But they played as a team, always, and every single player contributed by scoring a bucket or making a defensive play at a key moment in the game. In the end, the Mavs beat a better outfit because they complimented each other's strengths, shored up each other's weaknesses, and most importantly played with guts and tenacity every game!

    • He shouldn't have had the one in 06 the refs gave them that series. in 06 Wade had 97 free throws in the series the next highest player on either team had 55. In 2011 Wade had 49 and the next highest was Dirk with 46. When it's called even despite a super team the Mavs win. In the 06 finals series wade had more free throws than most star players have in 2 complete series. That's including every other finals that Wade played in. 97 free throws in a finals is so out of bounds that It's really an embarrassment for the league, but nobody really seemed to care because it was the mavericks on the losing side.
