  • I LOVE everything about the Purdy story. Tough, resilient, talented, can play at high level even in a multiple score deficit. The injury bounce back. Purdy is 100% one of the best QBs in the league and the constant hate he gets makes ZERO sense. I live 20 minutes from arrowhead so you know I’m pulling for the Chiefs. But acting like Purdy isn’t one of the most impressive QBs in the game is just deciding to hate him despite all evidence to the contrary

  • As a rookie takes the team to NFC Championship. Everyone said nah we gotta see him in a full season. The first full season takes the team to a Super Bowl. Not only that, he has the largest comeback in NFC Championship history, and the week before came from behind as well. People like Nick Wright are still doubting him. saying he isn't a top 5 quarterback of the league because of everyone on the team. Even though he broke the team record for passing yards. Something Hall of Famer Joe Montana and Steve Young never did. Even though they had players like Jerry Rice, JJ Stokes, Terrel Owens, Garrison Hearst, etc.

Burrow lost in the Super Bowl yet he is elite. Hurts lost in the SB. They are worshipping Stroud and Love as the next great QB’s both lost in the 2nd round. Love is not a rookie as people are trying to make him out to be. He had the benefit of learning behind one of the greatest to ever play before having a step on the field. • QB's more about seizing the main chance, and executing, consistently. Purdy's in the top tier when it comes to processing the field and seeing where he needs to go with the ball. He doesn't have to out-sprint a defensive back to do his job. I think this game will come down to the QB who makes the fewest mistakes. But for all I know, the balance of offense and defense will turn out to be such that both teams have success scoring. I don't think that's the high-probability calculation, but I think the Chiefs may have some rabbits to pull out of their hat. It would be just like them to bring Kadarius Toney out, and have him play the best game of his life. That's sort of what happened in last year's postseason. Or Justyn Ross high-point two or three passes in the red zone. Something they haven't shown, before. Both teams are pulling out all the stops in this game. If KC gets a 2-score lead, I don't think you'll see Toney or Ross at all. I think they'll put their most consistent players out there and play field-position and good defense. I just look at all the weapons SF has, and I think KC will have to bring heat all day long, especially missing Charles Omenihu at defensive end.

Every person in the media knows that if they talk badly about Brock Purdy right now it'll draw in TONS of views and they are all purposely taking advantage of the situation! It happens every single year! It's gotten so bad that 80% of the sports talk online has followed this exact same path! Want to get views? Just talk badly about someone who's absolutely shredding up the league! It's what SKIP made his career out of! And now there's 1000 copy cats out there doing the exact same thing! And most of America is too dumb to realize it and would rather hop into these conversations and argue with one another rather than see it for what it really is! And that's exactly what these shows want!

    • I said something similar a month or more ago, and most of it was these now steadily failing sports media juggernauts trying to stay relevant often partnering with other independent content creators and credentials seeking hopefuls to troll the same narratives. My opinion of #MVPurdy 🎉 hasn't changed all year even after the Christmas debacle against the purple crows.

  • I feel like Mr. Irrelevant is pretty degrading for person that worked hard and got to be in the Draft. That title should be discontinued in NFL Draft. Great story for Brock.

  • He scares me. You think he is this young innocent boy.....but he is a killer. With all the criticism he was getting , he finds himself 7-24 down at halftime and he plays an almost perfect second half in the bigger game of his life...That is why Bossa said what he said in the locker room...Even his team mates can't believe how cold blooded he is. He does not tell you what he thinks in interviews, he tells you what you want to hear......It is scary...... I bet he has the names of all these buffoons that have been talking trash about him on a list.... When he retires he will pay them a visit in their sleep....He is like Dexter...

  • Purdy still hasn’t even had a full healthy offseason as the 9ers starting QB. Rookie season he was the 3rd string and this past offseason he was rehabbing his elbow

  • bro... you might want to check those stats that you said he had in the NFC Championship Game He definitely didn't throw for 332 yards and didn't get anywhere near 4 TDs

    @MiguelJimenez-uc3yz@MiguelJimenez-uc3yz3 ай бұрын
    • Referenced game is wrong as Purdy did have that stat line in last postseason's NFC Wildcard game vs Seattle where he did have 332 yards passing and 4 touchdowns (3 passing and 1 touchdown rushing). Obviously, 49ers won the NFC Divisional game against Dallas and suffered his throwing elbow's torn UCL during first quarter vs Eagles in NFC Championship game.

  • I'm just hoping this kid DOES NOT become Dan Marino. For the ones who saw SB XIX, that was the ONLY SB Marino went to and lost it to this dude nicknamed "Joe Cool" Hoping that the 49ers defense decides to show up and these dudes that got paid also decide to put some effort in this final game It would be AMAZING to see this "irrelevant" QB take down Mahomes and Kelce

  • well, to be honest, he DOES have to prove it by winning the Superbowl. don’t get me wrong, he’s an ELITE QB much like his idol Dan Marino. but Dan never won the Superbowl, and only appeared that one time.
